Serbethane — Restaurant in Fatih

Food was ok, the service was not. I really dont care how they respond to this comment but they over charged us for sure. This was my second time coming here. Just yesterday i went for lunch and today for dinner. For lunch with the tour guide they gave us multiple side dishes and water was 20TL and for dinner bec we were one of the few people at the restaurant and not much foot traffic , they gave us NO side dishes, and charged 40TL for water. When i asked why there was this difference, they showed me a "fake" menu with fake prices. If you are a tourist... STAY AWAY! they change prices as soon as they see you and know you are not a local. Local tour guides also feed them customers as they are all friends or family memebers who knows, but its very organized in terms of ways to scam people visiting. Nice restaurant with great location.

Lunch was already included in the tour so I do not know about individual prices.

They served amazing, hot bread with turkish pastes before the standard meal, as well as a tasty lentil soup.

Main course was lamb and chicken skewers with rice and french french fries. Everything was good, but not outstanding.

Baklava served as dessert was just amazing! Great tea options too.

Service is efficient, but not so kind - maybe due to the amount of people that were in the overall group.

The space is comfortable, even though a little dark where we sat specifically. But there are other options.

This restaurant is so beautiful and the food is so good. You wouldn’t guess from the outside but the inside is just very well designed. Their food is also incredible. This was by far our favorite restaurant out of all of the restaurants we ate at in Istanbul!!

Their chicken skewers are sooo good and their starter dish with break and dips is absolutely amazing.

The staff is so warm, welcoming, and attentive. They offered wonderful customer service to us.

I’ll be dreaming about their chicken when I go back home!! If this restaurant was closer to my hotel I would have eaten here everyday!!
