The room was very neat and clean. Spacious enough for two people. Beds were comfortable and properly clean. The WIFI signal is very strong. My room was in the third floor, my room was number 303. It is sunny room. The sunlight makes it perfect, but for those who don't like much light in the room they can use a second curtain "perde" which is brown. There was a Vestel TV which made me enjoy watching the comedy movie "Urbetçi Şaban". There was a tiny fridge too in which I stored my chocolate, water, coke and fruits. There was also a water boiler "su ısıticı" which I used to make my coffee. The bathroom was very clean and water got heated perfectly in less than 1 minute. The towels were clean and there was shampoo, soap, and toilet paper. The air-conditionner works perfect and its remote controller is very handy. The location of the hotel is easily accessible and in an excellent region which is the down center, and those who would love to vusit Aya Sofya Mosque or Sultan Ahmet (the Blue Mossue) can just get there by walking. There was no service of breakfast because of Covid-19, but there are many snacks and restaurants in the same region which the food prices are reasonably cheap. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. And I recommend this amazing and beautiful hotel for all of you. Inşallah, I certainly will come back here again after I visit other cities soon enough. And, lastly, the hotel staff were very polite and nice, and this was very important for me. The MALKOÇ Hotel really deserves each Turkish Lira I gave. Honestly, the price is very very cheap, it really should be more than the price they ask for. Now, I'm enjoying eating my Turkish "Simit" before I check out the hotel at 12:00AM. I wish I can stay here more in this lovely room. In Turkish, I can say "Bu mükemmel ve harika bir otel"...
Read moreDo not stay in this place. it doesn't look even close to a hotel. It is DIRTY, there's leaks in the bathroom, the sheets were not replaced, the water bottles in the room were opened, half of the hallway lights didn't work, anything negative I could say about this place is not enough. Once you leave the lobby, which was a packaging warehouse for a street vendor, the stairs were blocked by with boxes and wrapped towels. The hallways were dirty and lights didn't work. it looked like a hunted house. Once we opened our room, we noticed open water bottles, the sheets were dirty, the bathroom was full of water from a leak. We didn't want to stay but still asked if it was that housekeeping forgot to clean the room. The guy at front desk told us that housekeeping was gone for the day and there was nothing he could do; and that there were no more rooms available. Horrible experiences, we lost our money and had to look for a hotel room at 11pm around the city. DO NOT...
Read moreIt’s a good 3 star hotel. The staff was friendly and very responsive. When we arrived the air conditioning in our room didn’t work. When we told them, they immediately changed the room. The cleanliness was acceptable and the rooms were cleaned every day. The staff offered help at any time, even when we called them in the middle of the night for an extra bellow. In this hotel you get what you paid for. Don’t go to a 3 star hotel and expect 5 star rooms. The room sizes were good and the bathrooms clean. The rooms were mostly quiet and the area in which the hotel lies is quiet at night. The breakfast was small but had a good variety. They try to put a new dish every day as not feel too tedious. In all honesty, if you are in Istanbul to stay at a hotel. This one isn’t for you. But if your visit is to explore the city and spend time shopping and doing various activities, this hotel is great. The staff is friendly but doesn’t pressure you or interfere in your business,...
