Completed the booking for this hotel about 2 months before arriving via Expedia. I arrived on a Thursday and got to the hotel. The hotel owner could only speak a few words in English which wasn't a great start. I gave him my details and the first word he said was "problem", which got me worried. After trying to communicate with him for over 15 minutes I knew we were not getting the room. In a nutshell he tried to say the guests that were supposed to leave are not well and will stay until tomorrow. He gave me a room at another hotel which was close by, the room wasn't brilliant but I wasn't left with much choice as I had 3 children with me who were all tired along with me and my wife. We eventually go the room the following day. The room, which we had was the balcony room and was spacious. The room was clean, AC worked as expected, mini fridge which was good also and it came with a TV. Our breakfast was included. It was pretty much basic but did the job. You are free to pop into the kitchen to make drinks whenever you want The staff were very friendly though. There's a chap that works in the evening and his English is better. Overall apart from the issue I had on the first night I would not hesitate in coming back again. The Blue mosque was around a 10 minute walk with the children, Topkapi Palace is around a 15 minute walk. For the price you pay its very unlikely you will find a...

Read moreBy far THE WORSE EXPERIENCE in my life. We were there with 2 kids ,8 and 10 and it was worse than I imagined. We were 3 families and our experience was horrible. we reserved an apartment and instead they gave us a small apartment near the hotel in a bulding basement. Mold, dirty with yellow sheets and towels the shower was dirty and with some crazy smells, I even found dirty socks under the carpets, no heet, the hot water arrived really late. In the morning the breakfast was horrible, literary I jus had some olives and cheese because that was the only thing that you can eat. The lady that prepared the food was very nice with me and to please me , and because I was starving she made me an omelett. The kids just had milk and cereals. Pay attention when you book your room because they show something else in the pictures. The real experience comes when you arrive here. They don't even deserve one star, maybe - 10. The parking place doesn't exist. At the beginig of the street with the hotel, some weird guys own a parking place, they know the owner and they charge you with 20 euro for 3 days (that is the price that they asked for). The owner knows this and I think they split the money, althow when you make the reservation they say that is included in the booking price. No way I can reccomend this hotel, not even...
