At the Roma Cave Suite Hotel we spent our wonderful holiday in Cappadocia. Our dream was to stay in a cave suite and our dream came true. The location of the hotel is very good, 5 minutes walk from Göreme bus station, 10 minutes from the viewpoint and close to all the restaurants and attractions. Many thanks to the hotel staff. Our holiday was organised to the highest standard. All requests or questions were dealt with very promptly. Thank you Berkan and especially Muharrem, for your excellent work and assistance.
The room was cleaned daily. Water was always put in the fridge and tea and coffee were brought. I have read in reviews that the sauna does not heat up well. The maximum temperature is limited to 69 degrees, we heated the sauna for an hour and steamed comfortably after a long hike. The jacuzzi worked, filled a couple of times, nothing leaks. There is air conditioning and a fireplace in the room. We didn't use either. The weather was comfortable during our stay, nights were cool and days were hot. The room was always at a comfortable temperature.
There is a terrace on top of the hotel with a beautiful view of Göreme and in the mornings a balloon show. Sometimes the balloons flew very close to the terrace and you could take very nice pictures.
Breakfast:
Now to the most important thing, the breakfasts. During the week we had fresh, tasty food. You can find enough food for every taste and appetite. There was soup every day. Yes, in the morning, soup!!! All the soups were insanely delicious and hearty. After such a breakfast, we calmly endured the whole day and despite the long walks, we did not feel hungry. Many thanks to Imran for her smile, her care and her delicious breakfasts. Imran, your scrambled eggs and vegetables in the pot, Gözleme and borek were always the freshest and very tasty.
At our request, they arranged for us to have a PCR test directly at the hotel.
Everything was very much to our liking, you made our holiday very comfortable. Thank you...
Read moreThe two stars is for the Hotel. And the deducted 3 stars is for the HOTEL STAFF. Especially the manager: Mohammed who has zero accountability. We had booked the hotel for our guests in August 2022,1 and a half months prior to our stay. We specifically mailed the hotel and asked them if a Jacuzzi was included in the room category we had booked and they gave us in writing that it was (BY A STAFF: RUSTO). On arriving, the guests were given a normal room. And the So-called manager said that the written agreement won't be permissible since the said staff left the job. Isn't that your problem? why should the guest suffer for that? When we asked what will it take to upgrade, the manager informed us that they were sold out. So basically, they downgraded our guests because they had OVERBOOKED! The hotel is good, and the location is perfect but the staff is pathetic, unhelpful, and ungracious. If you want to pay heaps and want to be insulted then only book here, or else you can find many amazing hotels in Cappadocia that know the meaning of term "hospitality".
PS: also don't book the hot air ballon with them. The manager quoted EURO 350 per person to our guests and the guests eventually booked it at EURO 230 per person with an agency just...
Read moreI recently stayed at the Roma Suite Hotel in Göreme, Turkey, and had a wonderful experience overall. The rooms are beautiful and well-air-conditioned, providing a comfortable retreat even in the warmer months. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, which added to the pleasantness of my stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile.
For those traveling by car, the hotel offers a reserved parking area, which is a great convenience. The breakfast served is excellent, with a variety of options that cater to different tastes. One of the highlights of the hotel is the lovely panoramic terrace, where you can relax and take in the stunning views of Göreme.
Additionally, the hotel offers a laundry service, which is very convenient if you're planning a longer stay. The service costs €20 per bag of clothes (sorted by color), making it easy to keep your wardrobe fresh.
The only minor downside is that early in the morning, you can hear a lot of activity from guests eager to catch a glimpse of the hot air balloons. Naturally, this can create some noise, but it's a small price to pay for such a unique experience.
Overall, I highly recommend Roma Suite Hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable...
