Even with a room right next to the street, they have double glass on the windows keeping the noise out. Breakfast was included. It was a nice buffet. They had options for vegans and vegetarians, too. Anel, the manager, was super helpful and accomodating. He told us how to take the bus to the Saturday Lara Pazari bazaar. He said we could use our credit card on the bus. When we got to the bus stop some older ladies showed us how to buy and fill a blue card. So we did that. At the bazaar, we wanted to buy spices and teas. Don’t buy the fancy spices on the main section until you look around first. Go down the produce section until you see spices and teas. The prices are less than half. Eucalyptus tea was 120 TL for 180 grams. The fancy tea listed price was 350 TL for 100 grams. But they say they’ll lower the price to 250 TL per 100 grams. Still more than twice the price if you shop around. When we got back to the hotel we told Anel we bought and filled a blue card to take the bus. Anel assured us we could have just used a credit card on the bus. Next time we’ll try that. Overall, we had a wonderful stay! We were very happy with our room...
Read moreThis hotel is in the old town and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. It is quiet in the evening but because of the fact that the hotel has a swimming pool in the middle with some rooms close to it, it is noisy. There is a kettle with tea in the rooms, but no coffee. I asked why. The answer was that there is a coffee machine and if I ask they can make me coffee. It takes long. Early in the morning I am not dressed yet and therefore cannot go out and ask for coffee. Many tourists drink coffee. It would be nice if there are some coffee in the rooms. There is no telephones in rooms to call reseption and no soap or shampoo at bath or shower. First time in any hotel that I find no soap or shampoo at shower or bath. Breakfast was very nice. I do not remember the name of the person who prepared it, but it was good and she was friendly too. Ahmet at reception was helpful...
Read moreI stayed for one night , I usually don't like hotels in narrow streets where cars are hard to reach, but it is in the heart of old town .
The hotel staff ( the reception guy especially) was very helpful. The room was clean. The design is very nice. Room was big.
What I didn't like is
When I first checked in , food leftover was in bag not removed from the room , however, the room cleaned again after I had informed they guy in the reception who was very helpful . No water bottle , coffee, or tea. I am sure such stuff will not put a business into bankruptcy. No spa bath , it doesn't work, and it is actually just a banio. Bad smell in the room. Breakfast is very basic. During rain water, enter...
