Mak's Cave House — Hotel in Uçhisar Beldesi

Cappadocia was one of our highlights in our trip and Mak’s definitely made the experience perfect for us!! This is definitely a unique and special 5 star hotel experience and i’ll recommend this to anyone coming to cappadocia!

Before the trip, it was easy to communicate with Mak through whatsapp, where she recommended things to do and answered questions we had. The hotel was easy to locate near the heart of Uchisar. When we reached the hotel she greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of the room and balcony where she showed us the amazing view in the balcony and shared with us the history of cappadocia and the attractions.

As the bigger rooms were available, she kindly gave us an upgrade to the bigger rooms which was clean and spacious. It was definitely a once in an lifetime experience staying in a cave! The cave hotel was unlike what I imagined, it was comfortable, well ventilated and clean. The balcony also have the best view in Uchisar, to view the Uchisar castle, hot air balloons for sunrise and sunset.

What surprised us was the hotel breakfast, they provided a generous feast for 2 of us! We forgot about the breakfast the first day and they sent in the food to our rooms to enjoy. On the second day we went up to enjoy the sunrise and delicious breakfast. All the staffs were very helpful and constantly asked us if we needed anything. Mak also told us that we could go up to the balcony for coffee, tea and snacks throughout the day whenever we wanted.

It was such an amazing 4D3N experience for us and we could feel Mak’s genuine hospitality. We hope to be back with our family soon for them to enjoy...

We had the most wonderful stay at Mak’s Cave House in Cappadocia, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We stayed as a family in the Blue Room, which was absolutely stunning—elegantly decorated with authentic Turkish details, a cozy bathrobe, and even a traditional Turkish bath inside. Every corner of the room was full of charm and warmth.

The terrace was like something out of a dream. Waking up early to watch the hot air balloons gently float across the morning sky from there was a magical experience we will never forget.

Breakfast was another highlight—imagine the quality of a fine dining restaurant, but with the generosity of a hearty, home-cooked meal. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.

All the staff members were so kind, welcoming, and attentive. A very special thanks to Bekir, who became a dear friend during our stay. He made what seemed impossible, possible—arranging an unforgettable hot air balloon flight for us and helping to make one of our dreams come true. He also organized a Turkish Night, a beautiful photo session, and a personalized tour to discover the must-see spots in Cappadocia, sharing helpful information along the way.

Thanks to everyone at Mak’s Cave House, we didn’t just have a vacation—we gained memories that will stay with us forever. We felt like part of a family, and we are deeply grateful for this extraordinary experience.

Mak's cave house, Cappadocia completed our month long tour to Europe and end of power Turkey trip. I , my wife and son we stay there for three nights. The location is great, nice and quiet. We were given 1000 year old cave house which has been modernized with all facilities and fantastic interior decorations. The service was mesmerizing. Its so clean and everywhare there is a great taste of elegance and class. We felt like home. The rooftop was fantastic where we spend hours at night. Early morning was even better with great scenic view. All fantastic restaurants from the hotel. Also a number of tour management company which are handy with competitive price. MS Rabeya and Miss Rafika we have to take these two names they made our stay so comfortable not only taking good care of us with all necessary requirements we asked for. Also to admit the breakfast is so fascinating and tasty with lot of choices.. all are homemade great Turkish breakfast. We strongly recommend all the travellers to stay this beautiful boutique hotel to get the actual charm of Cappadocia. Again our thanks to Rabeya and rafika and Mak's cave house for our memorable stay and sweet memories to cherish for long long time. We shall definitely come back here again. Asaad...
