The owner is one of the kindest, most passionate people we’ve met in the wine world. His love for wine, hospitality, and the culture around it is deeply felt in every part of the experience. The space itself is incredible—set in a 4,000-year-old cave that was once a wine press. The symbolism of honoring the space’s history while bringing people together over wine made the experience even more magical.

We enjoyed the tasting for its warm atmosphere, stories, and the rustic and authentic vibe of the place. This is not an elaborate tasting with all the "notes of wallnut bark at midnight and grass after a summer rain" that sometimes accompany such experiences. It's a very nice person, his daughter and the family dog (whom we haven't had the pleasure of meeting), a few details about the grapes and coupage and an all-around genuine interaction. If you're sick of tourist traps, pop in the shop, have a very reasonable tasting, and enjoy a bottle of wine or two on your trip.
