Last night, my friends and I had the pleasure of dining at Korean Kitchen, and it was an experience worth sharing!

The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Kimchi Jjigae. The rich and flavorful broth, packed with just the right amount of spice, was a comforting delight. Equally impressive was the Honey Garlic Fried Chicken. The perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors, combined with its irresistible crunch, made it a clear favorite at our table. It’s a dish I highly recommend to anyone visiting the restaurant.

We also indulged in the Tteok-bokki and Noodles with Cheese. The chewy rice cakes were cooked to perfection, and the spicy sauce paired with the cheesy noodles was a match made in culinary heaven. It's a wonderful option for those who love a fusion of classic Korean and modern comfort food.

Beyond the delicious food, the service we received was outstanding. Ate Weng and the rest of the staff were incredibly accommodating, ensuring our needs were attended to promptly. Their attentive and friendly service added to the overall enjoyable experience.

Nestled in the heart of Abu Dhabi - KoreaN Kitchen offers a slice of Korea with its authentic flavors and cozy ambiance. Walking into the restaurant, you’re immediately greeted with the inviting aroma of food and traditional side dishes, creating an anticipation for what’s to come. The decor blends modern minimalism with subtle traditional Korean elements, making it a comfortable spce. The menu is packed with Korean classics. The Bibimpap is rich, and heartwarming, perfect for those who crave a taste of home or are eager to try a staple comfort dish. They served with a variety of banchan (side dishes) that complement the main course beautifully. For those with a penchant for spice, the Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) offers the perfect balance of sweet and heat.

'Korean Kitchen' in Abu Dhabi is run by Korean entrepreneurs recreating some of Korea's favourite fast food and you know they are legit when you find a Korean couple dining in when we arrived. The smell of fried chicken filled the joint and we got down to the serious business of ordering.

I might have gone a little overboard but this is what we ordered.

Spicy Chicken Rice - AED 40 Shrimp Fried Rice - AED 40 Japchae - AED 35 Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken Half (Yang Nyeom) - AED 38 Honey Garlic Fried Chicken Half - AED 38

I can't find fault in any of the items we ordered. Everything from the fried chicken to the spicy chicken rice was exceptional and packed some decent heat. My favourite of the lot had to be the 'Japchae' or glass noodles which my cousin ordered and this also happens to be her favourite.

The only complaint would be that the 'Honey Garlic Fried Chicken' was a bit too sweet but I have no reason to complain since this was meant to be sweet. Paired with the 'Prawn Fried Rice', it is a satisfying combination. Mix in some kimchi and this is the perfect comfort snack.

What would I like to try again? I'm definitely getting some 'Japchae' and 'Yang Nyeom' on my next visit...
