Our one night stay here was brilliant. We were warmly welcomed by the duty manager, Faye, who gave us a glass of champagne whilst we checked in as we were staying for our anniversary. We were in the Legacia room which was outstanding and very luxurious, with lovely art deco decor and comfy super king size bed. The bathroom had a separate shower and a lovely roll top bath, along with two robes. Location is great, about ten minutes walk from the town centre, a few minutes to the beach, and loads of nice pubs and restaurants within minutes of the hotel. Only thing that could have been improved for us was breakfast - you can pick three items off a continental breakfast menu (not a buffet and no cooked options). It was all perfectly fine, and the service was lovely, but compared to how luxurious the rest of our stay had been, it felt a bit of a contrast. All round though it was an excellent stay and I'd definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely boutique hotel, very close to the seafront and a walk to the pier and town centre. Also great to be near the beach walk which heads up to the (slowly getting restored) black rock area. The rooms are not massive but if your plan is to just use this as a resting spot then it won't matter (like it didn't for me). I loved the welcome cookies and the warm comfortable, themed room, it was a little noisy early evening as my room backed onto a pub beer garden, but I used ear plugs and that noise was then no bother. You may want to check your room location if you are sensitive to noise before booking. Breakfast, while basic, is also lovely. You get a selection of a cereal or fresh baked pattiseries plus toast of your choice, juice and tea/coffee, more than enough to set you up for the morning. Best of all. The staff are lovely, and very accommodating wanting to make sure you have the best stay. I would definitely go back there.

Wedding: Thank you so much to the Blanch House team for making our wedding on the 10th of July so special. Kerry has been so supportive since we booked our original date in September and made the process of changing dates (3 times due to the pandemic) quick and stress free. The venue was dressed beautifully, the team executed flawlessly on the day and we are just so happy our big day ran so smoothly and were able to just fully relax and enjoy it. THANK YOU!

We were allocated a "superior" room (Harlequin). Tbh, I wouldn't really class it as 'superior', but it was adequate and clean. |Positives: Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, happy to provide fresh milk and ice/chilled water for the room. The room had a huge comfortable bed, clean bedding and good sized clean white towels were provided (2 x bath sheets and 2 x hand towels), with tea/coffee makings. Bath robes were provided (which we didn't use). Continental breakfast was included (with a chargeable option for cooked if you wished), but we found the continental to be adequate; (cereals, fruit juice, toast, ham & cheese, fresh fruit, croissants, jam, honey, marmalade, marmite) with freshly made tea and coffee. The location was good, with the seafront at the end of the road and easy walking distance to the pier and other attractions and buses could be got at both the top of the road and along the seafront.|Negatives: Our room was up a few flights of stairs so I was hoping for a nice view, but sadly it was just backs of houses and roofs. The room was on the small side and the toilet/shower room was tiny, with just a very small shelf and nowhere to hang the hand towels. There was an old wardrobe with just 4 hangers and a stiff old drawer at the bottom. It was during a heatwave and the fan provided was old and ineffectual, so it was very hot and stuffy at night, which made sleeping difficult. The breakfast room was in the basement, which was a bit dark and dingy, but I guess that's how the houses are in this area.|All that said, the we got a good deal on the price and wouldn't be averse to...

We stayed on New Year's eve as a party of four in two separate rooms. We were made to feel welcome immediately on arrival, the friendly, happy manger introducing himself and the staff member on the desk going above and beyond to facilitate parking and helping with our bags. The hotel is beautifully decorated, high ceilings, gorgeous individual furniture pieces, a gorgeous well stocked bar (I am now a new fan to the joy that is Brighton Gin!) Each bedroom is quirky and unique, comfortable, sparkling clean and delicately furnished in luxury. The bathrooms clean, fresh, and well equipt. Each staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble, they happily swapped my feather bedding for non feather (personal choice) and called us taxis, helping out with their local knowledge when asked. The highlight for me was the breakfast served in the morning. Oh my wow, it was Amazing! A buffet of fresh fruit, croissants, fresh juices etc, fresh tea/coffee brought to our table in the lovely dining room. My husband ordered eggs royale from the large menu which is included as part of the breakfast too, and it arrived to the table freshly prepared, aesthetically pleasing and smelling l lush. He didn't leave a scrap! I ordered the vegan breakfast, and I can honestly say it was the best I've ever eaten. Hot, fresh, beautifully presented. Wow. I will definatley be returning to this gorgeous hotel, 5 huge, well deserved stars from me! I totally recommend this hotel to anyone heading...

My girlfriend and I booked to stay in this hotel last minute. Prior to booking we read through various positive reviews, and upon arrival to the hotel we were not disappointed. We were greeted by a lovely member of staff who promptly checked us in and gave us a map of Brighton, pointing out some great tourist spots. We were then shown to our room, which again did not disappoint. We stayed in the Renaissance room which was perfect for what we needed. The room was clean and cosy and beautifully decorated. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room, including home made biscuits. After a long day exploring Brighton we headed back to the hotel and enjoyed a drink at the bar, which was reasonably priced. Fortunately for us, they recommended a tasteful Italian restaurant within walking distance for our evening meal. The next morning we had breakfast in the hotel and the food was glorious, all food sourced locally. Overall, the hotel is in a great location, the staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to help you and the rooms are clean and cosy. I would definitely stay...
