Fallen Angel — Restaurant in England

This is THE best pub ever ! I have never had a favourite pub before, but I can honestly say I do now. It’s all down to the barman Richard . He is such a great great guy and terrific at what he does. The atmosphere is fantastic. Down to the terrific playlists of music Richard plays. He is an incredible attentive barman, your glass is never empty. He’s good! Never missing the opportunity to ask if you’d like another drink when your glass is getting low ( good for the business of course). Friendly, smiling and has a fab sense of humour. I have witnessed him asking people for ID should he ever be in doubt . His eyes are everywhere… knowing exactly what’s going on in the pub.

It’s a pub you can go into with the intentions of just staying for 1 but ending up more like coming out closer to 1:-) The time flies….

It would be great if there could be live music at times. But in the meantime- Richard’s choice of music makes up for it. A terrific place and a ‘must visit’ pub for anyone coming to Brighton and Kemp town...

Loverly friendly bar... just what we need in Brighton 5 stars ... The name made me want to see the place after the fallen angel Original named bar in Graham Street angel, Islington London ... as ex licensee of the king Edward v1 angel Islington I was not disappointed . very friendly the owners are so friendly ...fabulous atmosphere everybody's made to feel very welcome. Fantastic music and a lovely outside smoking area. Highly recommend will definitely be using...

Stayed nearby and came in for a little evening atmosphere. The bartender, Richard, is one of a kind. Huge personality that kept the place under control with a lovely blend of humour and sheer tenacity and determination. Having worked in the service industry my whole life, it was awesome to see him be both lovely and a complete badass behind the bar. Can't recommend this place enough. Tell Richard...
