We moved to Brighton a short while ago and from the first day we wondered into Brighton Rocks we where welcomed with open arms. The atmosphere is incredible, vibrant and professional.

The drinks are to die for and made by mixologists, so even the standard bourbon and mixer comes tasting incredible with great attention to detail. To make things better the whole drinks menu is reasonably priced, so you can enjoy a great night without the financial fear one can feel the morning after.

The biggest attraction is the staff and landlord’s, you are welcomed with table service and you are never without a drink before your approached and asked if your ok and would like another drink. The staff always wear a smile and take the time to get to know you, let alone give advice on drinks should you require.

The beers have been hand selected to ensure the highest quality. You are spoilt with the finest lagers and beers. You will not be able to find a fosters or alike at this venue but you won’t be disappointed with the alternatives. Huge selection of wines to your choice and without a doubt the finest whiskey selection I have certainly ever witnessed. I can definitely advise the Rip Van Winkle if you go. It’s incredible.

The whole pub is covered in art that draws your attention, you could spend hours just appreciating the incredible and vibrant art around the establishment. Secondly the seating is comfortable with an outside area which is covered with a view of the sea.

All in all, the venue is incredible and I can’t recommend it highly enough, you experience the real Brighton! Undoubtedly Kemptowns best kept secret and be sure to ask about...

Don't miss this Brighton gem. A fantastically quirky bar which will be loved by old goths and rockers as well as young ones. A proper rockers pub in style with an artistic flare and an extensively stocked bar.

We were greated with a warm smile and treated like friends. The barman, also the manager, seemed to love his job and he easily communicated his passion to us whilst making us one of his cocktail experiments which was delicious.

We stayed for ages, soaking up the vibes from regular and new customers, surveying the well priced art and looking at different cabinets of curiosities.

I would have loved it if they hosted themed nights like a proper old school rock and metal night and then it would have ticked all my boxes. I think they could make more of the wierd, I suggest they would find inspiration at the Victor Wynd Musuem and Absinthe...

A hidden gem of a bar with an excellent choice of drinks and friendly efficient staff! Situated half way down a side road, off Saint James Street on the way to Kemptown, just up the road from Brighton beach and pier with a nice view of the sea when sat outside. The staff here really know their drinks and are happy to advise on taste and serve you. The tables are kept cleared of empties and cleaned regularly (and thoroughly) in-between customers. Bar snacks are available but you can also bring and eat your own food here. We really enjoyed the great atmosphere whilst sat outside drinking, talking with others and listening to a good selection of music. Added to our best bars in Brighton and we will definitely be back again soon!...

I have lived in Brighton for just over a year now and make it a personal goal to visit a new pub every week. I wish I visited Brighton Rocks sooner. Tucked away down a little street in Kemptown you could easily miss this place but it's worth a visit. Has a New Orleans theme and extremely tasty cocktails, although they are on the pricier end at around £11 a pop. Lots of interesting craft beers and lagers on tap as well. Doesn't get too busy whilst still having a good vibe and atmosphere. Theme makes it a more eclectic choice than other Kemptown offerings. Recommended 👍
