Me and my friend stayed at this place on a girly weekend away in Blackpool last year. My friend chose this B&B and I couldn't believe what a bargain it was for our money (I think we paid around £25-30 pounds each for the room and breakfast from what I can remember!). I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for your money, so I knew this place would be no frills. I am always cautious when the price is low, but there was everything we needed and more. I couldn't fault it tbh. The place has a great, central location right in the heart of Blackpool. It was great for going out to bars in the evening and walking back without having to get a taxi. We felt safe and comfortable in the hotel which is important to us as two young women. The rooms were small but comfortable and perfectly fine for what we needed them for (to sleep in and get ready to go out in the evening). Me and my friend shared a twin room which was basic, but clean and tidy. There was a mirror in the room for us to do our make up and it also had an ensuite bathroom with a shower and all the other little amenities that you would expect from a basic hotel room. The breakfast was a basic and included a full English, but considering what we paid for it, it was perfectly adequate. If we came back to Blackpool we would definitely...
Read moreJust got back from a 3 day trip to Blackpool. Stayed at the Casablanca don’t usually do b&b and usually go in our tourer, but just for a change we booked. Stayed at the Casablanca Saturday and Sunday. After travelling for over 2 hrs kids were restless and hungry dropped our stuff at the hotel but needed to find a parking space as hotel parking was full until Sunday. I would make sure you can get parked at the hotel if you stay here as parking in Blackpool is a nightmare took 2 hrs to find a parking space not that this is the hotels fault. Anyway we got parked and enjoyed a day in the arcades and amusements all be it in 50 mph wind and rain. Returned to the hotel to freshen up before returning to the sea front for the lights. B&b is clean and owner very friendly rooms big enough for family of 4 and close to the beach, tower and several car parks as well as amusements etc Breakfast was lovely full English toast and tea and as my wife is vegetarian she was given quorn sausages. We would definitely...
Read moreJust returned from a last minute stay to Blackpool with friends. We booked this hotel based on the reviews. The only downside really was that it is currently not serving breakfast as recently under new ownership. We were in room 9 (king deluxe) which was on the top floor , very spacious and immaculate - bed and pillows very comfortable for us. Our friends stayed in room 5 a standard double. Much smaller but still very clean and comfortable. ||||The heating was on during the night and room got very warm but we were able to open the windows. ||||The only little thing was the noise from the screeching woman next door at 7.30 in morning screaming at her kids / not sure if this was adjoining hotel so other than maybe a bit of soundproofing it was a very pleasant overnight stay. ||||We walked 5-10 minutes to the Galleon cafe for breakfast which was very nice and...
