Would be a great stay with some small changes!|1) Bedside tables with lamps and power source. Currently none, Led strip lights which cannot be turned off without getting out of the bed. Also no plug sockets on either side of the bed to charge phone.|2) A dressing table with mirror, could not dry hair without sitting on the floor as no dressing table or power source near a mirror.|3) Better quilt, we we so cold even with the extra blanket provided. A small towel radiator in a huge bedroom was not sufficient. Two small oil radiators were provided, we left on whilst we went out, but came back to them unplugged aswell as the heating turned off.|4) We were woken up at 1am with someone banging at the external door for an hour. Read moreWe wanted a central location due to husband recovering from major surgery but also needed a break away. We met Jason the owner on arrival who was very welcoming and had been fantastic to communicate with via email before arrival, letting us know access arrangements, the parking provided and suggestions for meals etc. we had the suite on the ground floor called Skiddaw as we knew we would spend more time than usual in the room, having the sofa and tv etc made a huge difference, a home from home. The rooms were clean and welcoming and very comfortable. Being less than 5 mins walk to the centre of Keswick was just fantastic and allowed us to explore. We will...
Read more2 days staying in the Skiddaw room ground floor. Very spacious living area and bedroom at back with ensuite. Firstly very clean. Secondly a good room rate which, not taking advantage like some others. Car park 2 mins away was sorted by Jason and Alison. Thankyou. 2 mins to town centre. Sky tv albeit we were out most of time. Lovely wine bar in packhouse court. Nice walk to a lovely meal at the pheasant inn, but you need to book. Definitely booking to stay at Ravensworth House next time we...
