⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent stay at Comfort Inn Victoria!
Our stay at Comfort Inn Victoria was a truly pleasant experience. The check-in process was quick and easy, and we were warmly welcomed by the kind and professional staff at the reception.
The hotel’s location is perfect — just a few minutes’ walk from Victoria Station, which made it incredibly convenient to reach the Underground, trains, and buses for our day trips and visits around London.
Considering that hotel rooms in London can be quite small, we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious our room was. The bed was very comfortable, the duvet was warm and cozy, and the pillow was one of the best we’ve ever had while traveling — we slept wonderfully every night. The room was quiet and peaceful, perfect for resting after a full day in the city.
The bathroom was also spacious and well maintained. Towels were replaced daily, and the room was cleaned with great attention every day. The entire staff was consistently friendly, polite, and ready to help with anything we needed.
We also appreciated the option to safely leave our luggage after check-out, which allowed us to enjoy breakfast and a final stroll before heading to the airport — such a thoughtful detail!
Overall, we were very happy with the quality of the room, the cleanliness, and the hotel’s excellent location near restaurants, pubs, and transport links. We highly recommend Comfort Inn Victoria for anyone visiting London and looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-situated...
Read moreWell, its not a typical Hotel like you find in the United States thats for sure. First, they gave us a room on the first floor but we had 14 stairs to drag our lugguage up. No elevator for that crazy room. Then there is no phone in the room, no wash cloths that they give to guests. No ice or Friges they can leave you. The AC was a Wall unit and worked poorly. You have to leave your room card in a slot by the door for the lights to work. The guy at the desk was unfriendly and said he had other rooms but would not change our room. The place smelled like a toilet all the time. The shower door would not close and water would go out onto the floor. Did I mention hard beds and the room was as big as a closet in the states? Two small twin beds that were hard, no phone or ice and it was HOT. Sounds great right? They told me to go to the pub across the street and they will give you a cup of ice? Crazy hotel for sure. I told they guy I would have been better off in a Tent outside. They also dont give you the free Breakfasts like the choice hotels in the states.(10 pounds/10$ to eat the hotel breakfast) Beware, England is a different animal for sure if your used to the US Ammenities. They even charge you in England to use the public toilets! Its hot everywhere, they dont use A/C much in England. We used my wifes points maybe thats why we got the crap room, who knows, I think they were all bad. Only thing going for it was that its close to the...
Read moreThe only reason this review has any stars is because the breakfast was fine (standard continental) and the location was very convenient (less than 5 minute walk to Victoria station, 10mins to Buckingham Palace).
For the price ($250/night CAD during off-season) my husband and I were very disappointed. There was construction going on daily right outside of our room that was so loud it would shake the walls. We weren’t warned about the noise, but luckily this was our first stop on our trip so we were up at 5am every day from jet lag anyway. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have been able to sleep past 8:30/9am.
The room smelled super musty at the best of times, and like sewage at the worst (typically the smell would worsen when it had been raining). The bathtub had obviously not been cleaned as there were still hairs on the shower wall from previous guests. There was also a lot of mould growing on the tiles as well as an insane amount of grit/grime buildup. Under the bed was the previous renter’s trash, and neither the drain in the sink nor the tub drained properly.
For a hotel with “Comfort” in the name the beds were in some of the worst either of us had ever slept on - we could feel the individual springs in the mattress, and the pillows were so flat they were almost nonexistent. The bedding was clean though, and there were thankfully no insects so I suppose it could have been worse.
Needless to say, we definitely won’t be...
