I went there today to get a bunch of flowers for my very close friend. I wanted something colourful and interesting in the mixed but the lady working there tried so hard for me to buy the already made bouquets which all looked boring. I wasn't interested in those so asked for individual ones to make my own. She stormed across the shop and started making up prices which were not labelled on the flowers and was clearly over pricing. Telling me £9.50 for a single rose? I should be stupid to consider a rose that looks half dead to worth £9.50. I rejected and asked for x2 blue pink deco flowers and A lilly which costed me £9.50. As I was leaving the shop she called me cheap but these types of people are not worth for me to respond. I went into M&S and bought a lovely bunch of pink and white roses for £5 and added to my mix. It looked stunning and nothing like what they had there. It is a shame that they treat people that way. If you are sensitive I would avoid going there unless you are ready to spend £50 for a bouquet. I understand that not always everyone can be nice but honestly I don't have to buy from you. If she was nice probably I would have bought something more from there but I'm glad I didn't. I wanted to support the business by going in but I regret going in, I would not recommend to anyone. Just go to M&S and buy an orchid...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIād avoid this dishonest flower shop and purchase online or outside of train stations where reputation matters and they donāt rely on one-off customers.
I asked if the bouquet you see in the picture is from today and the saleswoman said with confidence that all of the bouquets are fresh or a day old at most. She pointed to the one I wanted and affirmed that one is fresh from today. Great!
As you can see, I was lied to. Scammed, really. Yes my fault for buying what I could see in the first place, but I was tired and wasnāt sure if the off-white was normal thus me asking if they were fresh. I didnāt notice the tired petals til I was home.
I donāt buy flowers often and this was for a special occasion, I felt very bad giving my partner these...
Read moreI bought a £25 flower arrangement in a small vase, at Paddington, for my beloved. The shop assistant was miserable and definitely not in the mood to talk to me. I had to call her attention to get assistance. She wrapped the flowers in cellowrap and a ribbon. I took my 40 minute train journey with the flowers carefully placed on the table to protect them from damage. On unwrapping the cellophane, several of the larger flowers had been totally crushed by too tight wrapping. Despite appropriate care being taken, the arrangement was mostly dead within 3 days. If I had bought my flowers from M&S in the unit next door I know they would have lasted at least a week. I won't shop at this...
