Upon arriving I was met by what I can only describe as the rudest and most unhelpful person on reception, a young man who just had zero people skills, and was simply put extremely rude, he never greeted me once with even said hello or hardly looked up. This I can handle, however he gave me a passcode to a room on the top floor which After lugging my baggage there, it did not work and i could not enter my room, frustrated i made the trip leaving my bags unattended back down, for him to keep me waiting, again just focusing on his computer, after getting his attention and explaining, he didn't apologize he just gave me another code, guess what after making the same trip it still didn't work. getting more and more frustrated i headed back down where thankfully another member of staff this time took charge and handed me a key, again no apologies from him at all, and i heard whilst waiting for my lift, she was telling him off and explaining that "in future just get a key for the customer, as it leads to frustration" i was absolutely then shocked to hear him laugh it off and huffed. I really advise you to train your staff on customer service and general manners, the service was appalling for someone you will meet first off on reception, given this is the first experience I was met with. This will be first my first and last visit to this hotel, my company will not be using again either.
The hotel itself was fine I guess, room very small but clean, sadly the whole experience was marred by the rude member of staff...
Read moreI booked this hotel through Amex and trusted their 4-star rating. The only good thing about this hotel is its location. We paid $300 per night for our 6-night stay! Upon checked in, I asked if we could have a room on a higher floor. As usual, they said they were completely booked. They gave us a room on the ground level, and when we walked in, it looked like a dungeon! One side of the wall was damp, and we could even smell mold. We were supposed to have a queen bed, but the room had a full-sized bed.
I immediately went back and said we couldn’t stay in that room. The gentleman at the desk said, “Sorry, that’s all we have.” I went back, grabbed our stuff, and told him we were leaving. Then he said, “Let me see if I can make some changes!” He put us in a room on the 2nd floor, facing the back wall of another building. The room was very tiny, and the funniest part was the coffee machine and electric kettle on the desk—with no outlet on that side of the room! The fridge and TV didn’t work either.
The whole building rattled every single minute because the metro runs underneath it (less on the weekend). So, if you're a light sleeper, good luck. As for cleanliness, after seeing how the staff cleaned the other rooms, I refused to have housekeeping during our stay. Very disappointed...
Read moreI had an absolutely amazing stay at Rove Hotel Paddington in London. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations — from the warm welcome to the fantastic location and the quality of service throughout my visit.
The hotel’s location is unbeatable — just a short walk to Hyde Park, close to excellent coffee shops and Mediterranean restaurants, and conveniently located near Soho, Big Ben, and London’s iconic bridges. Whether you’re in the mood for a relaxing stroll through the park or an exciting night out, everything is just around the corner.
A very special thank you to Manager Shadi, who does an incredible job running the property. He was not only professional and attentive but also genuinely kind and made sure everything was perfect throughout the stay. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made me feel truly valued as a guest.
I also want to express my gratitude to Atif at reception — his help and kindness made check-in and every interaction smooth and pleasant. He went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed.
Overall, I highly recommend Rove Hotel Paddington for anyone visiting London. The location, the comfort, and above all, the exceptional hospitality from the team made this a stay...
