This apartment is in a fabulous spot next to Hyde park providing a great walk into the centre. The house itself is part of a grand old terrace with what were the stables behind it. It has two really comfortable rooms which could both be used for sleeping, if desired, one with a good sized kitchen & dining table & bed-settee which was comfortable and still left room to move around when extended. Everything was clean & we had all we needed for a very comfortable & enjoyable stay. We bumped into the cleaner, as we arrived very early. He was really friendly, took our bags and went out of his way to give us an accurate time to return when it would all be ready. On top of this all communication with the owner prior to our stay was easy and informative. I would have no hesitation in trying to book this accommodation again, although, I imagine I may not be so lucky next time particularly as I imagine everyone will leave glowing...
Read moreWe stayed in one of the apartments at Sussex Gardens by Paddington and it was lovely. Our host Ery and the housekeeping team went above and beyond to allow us check in early so our children could rest as we arrived on the hottest day of the year and when my daughter was ill in the night, they very kindly cleaned the bedding and gave us lots of extra towels,it made the experience so much more comfortable, especially as we were away from home. We will hopefully be back soon as the location was amazing,we only used the tube once as everywhere we needed to go was walkable and the Elizabeth line to Heathrow at Paddington took only 15 minutes so it was really convenient for our flight home too. If you have small kids I'd book maybe the ground or first floor apartments as the 3rd floor with a buggy and two small children was a bit of a challenge but that was the only hardship, the rest...
Read moreIt was my third time in London and second staying at Louise's. This place is all about location. It's close by feet for many places in London, such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Westminster Bridge and Buckingham Palace, once you are able to walk at least 20-30 minutes. The underground station is 2 minutes by feet and it's a Victoria Line, which connects to many other lines to whole London. There is also a bus stop right in front of the property that can lead you to wherever you want to go. About the accommodation itself, I cannot say it's enormous, but cozy and able to properly accommodate 6 people. I'd say 4 would be the best, because it's only one toilet, but with organized schedules works just fine for a group. The apartment is well equipped with all the utensils for basic meals. The staff is really supportive and the answers are just as quickly as they can. Totally...
