From the moment we walked into Angus Steakhouse Paddington, we knew we were in for a treat. The atmosphere was welcoming, stylish, and buzzing with just the right energy. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly, and from there, the experience only got better. We started the evening with a round of cocktails – a Passionfruit Martini, the perfectly balanced Green Manalishi, and a classic Mai Tai. Each drink was beautifully crafted, refreshing, and presented with flair. It was clear the bartenders here know their craft. To begin, I ordered the Calamari, and it was spot on – crispy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. It paired wonderfully with the cocktails and set a high bar for what was to come. For the main course, I stayed loyal to the best: the Fillet Steak. Cooked to absolute perfection – medium-rare just as I like it – it was melt-in-the-mouth tender, full of flavour, and accompanied by delicious sides. Truly one of the best steaks I’ve had in London. Dessert was a beautifully executed Crème Brûlée – creamy, silky custard with a flawless caramelised sugar top. A perfect, classic finish to a stunning meal. What truly elevated the entire experience, though, was the incredible service. A huge thank you to Zsolt and our amazing waitress Karolina – both were professional, warm, and genuinely attentive. They made sure everything was spot-on throughout the evening and added that personal touch that made us feel more like guests than customers. Overall: 10/10. Excellent food, top-notch drinks, and world-class service. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just want a proper steak dinner done right, Angus Steakhouse Paddington is the place. Can’t wait to return!

Me and my family were looking for a place to eat, it's thursday night, so no wonder every possible place was full, we saw a free table at the Angus Steakhouse. I offered my family to go in as I've seen this 6 a couple of times by now. We were then greeted and seated by a very nice guy, while the restaurant was quite full they did take our order very fast, so thats why it was a 4-star service. While they took the order very fast, i couldn't say that about the food... We waited for about 30-40 minutes, which was very slow. When we got our food (which was a steak, a salmon, and fish n' chips), it was still warm, which is good until we started eating... While the Fish n' Chips were very good and i would recommend these, i wouldn't say it's worth the 20£. The steak was a Rump steak, which i ordered in Medium Rare came very dry as a bit burnt. Now, the grilled salmon was the worst one by far... The first time it came, it was RAW on the inside, as you can see in the photo of the review. Although right after we told the staff about it, they quickly apologized and asked us if we wanted another one. After we got the second salmon, it was pretty good and actually hot. We also ordered a Non alcoholic X-tini, yet after it came to us as alcoholic they replaced it with a non alcoholic one. I got it that it was late and the staff was tired, but the food and the service should still be good despite the hours. Overall, i really wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

We came here after seeing the restaurant’s website and the display screen outside advertising a dinner special “from £14.95.” We planned our evening around this, only to be told on arrival that no such special existed. When I mentioned the advertisement, the manager dismissively asked, “Did you see any advertisement on the wall outside?”—despite the fact that the display screen clearly showed the deal, and we have taken pictures as proof that the advertisement is IN FACT ON THE WALL of the premise. What made the situation far worse was his attitude. Instead of politely explaining that this branch was not participating, he mocked me and even insulted me by questioning whether I understood English. I was shocked, humiliated, and deeply hurt by such disrespectful treatment. We are not from London and his attitude made our trip to London worse than ever. This experience completely ruined our evening, and I will never return and will never recommend this place to anyone around us. The false advertising and the manager’s offensive behavior have caused me emotional distress and left me with no trust in this place. For anyone considering dining here, especially if you’re drawn by their “specials,” I strongly recommend asking upfront before committing. Don’t let misleading promotions and poor customer service spoil your night like it did ours. We visited on 9.10pm, 8th of September 2025.

My mother, my 9 and a half month old baby, and I visited this restaurant after my mother had spotted it the day before and was really looking forward to trying the food. We arrived in the evening and asked the server if we could sit outside, as it was a nice night and we had the baby with us. The waitress kindly suggested we sit inside in case it rained which we appreciated, as she was thinking of our comfort.

When we came in, the waitress asked if I could place the buggy in the corner, which I did. As I took my baby out, she kindly offered to hold her while I gathered her things from the buggy. I was grateful for her help especially as my mother was carrying several bags but to my shock, right there in front of us, the other customers, and the staff, the manager began scolding the waitress for holding my baby. The tone and lack of respect were appalling. Speaking to a staff member like that in front of customers is unprofessional, and speaking to anyone that way is simply rude. At first, I thought he was joking, but quickly realised he was serious.

We were seated, but almost immediately the manager came over and asked me to fold down the buggy. I said, “Not a bother,” and began doing it. As I was in the middle of folding it (in a small, tight space), he came back again saying, “It’s still in the way.” I had to point out that I was clearly folding it at that very moment and just needed a second. There was no offer of assistance only a sense of being hurried along.

For the record, before moving the buggy I had asked another staff member if it was fine where it was, and was told it was okay. I had no problem folding it down, but to be told to do so and then essentially rushed while doing it felt unnecessarily rude.

When I asked the same lovely waitress for a highchair, the manager came over once again this time to say that my baby wouldn’t fit into it because “it’s for older children.” That comment left me baffled. Highchairs are made for babies like mine, not for “older children” who no longer need them.

By this point, I felt unwelcome, embarrassed, and uncomfortable especially as other customers were looking over. I told the manager directly that his manner had been extremely rude, both towards us and towards his staff, and that his behaviour was unprofessional.

This was a very unpleasant experience from start to finish. I rarely complain, but I left feeling angry and disrespected. I can’t help but wonder was it because we were two women with a baby? Whatever the reason, there was simply no excuse for the lack of manners and basic courtesy shown...

Let’s start off by saying we had a wonderful meal. Our two lovely servers Marianny and Milda took good care of us and the food was delicious. There were 3 of us dining. We had tomato soup, meatballs, the salmon dinner and one of the steaks ( I can no longer remember which cut, though I know it was a premium steak) accompanied by thick cut potato fries and mushrooms. Everything was delicious. That wasn’t the star of our meal though. After sitting down and ordering our meals, 2 males and a female entered the restaurant and were seated behind us. When I use the word “pungent” it does not do justice as to the nauseating stench of perfume that emanated from one of these individuals. My eyes started to water and I felt as though I was going to throw up. It was as though this person had not only sprayed themselves with perfume but had bloody well bathed in it. It was obnoxious beyond belief and even more obnoxious that they felt inclined to inflict this violation of ones senses on others. I was not doing well and that is when our hero Todor came to the rescue. He had made eye contact with me maybe 30 seconds before, and I then noticed him talking to his manager right away. He did not miss a beat. He came up to me, told me that they were cleaning a table for us and would move us momentarily. He handled the situation with such grace. He knew that I understood what he was saying and I knew that he understood my plight. He was so beyond professional, I’ve never seen anyone handle a situation like that so well. We were quickly and efficiently moved by Todor and his lovely manager Kostas . We were completely at the other end of the restaurant and were still able to smell the horrid stench of this perfume. If Todor hadn’t stepped in and wasn’t able to read the situation the way he did our dinner would have been ruined. All 3 of us were suffering and would not have been able to enjoy our meals. I was so beyond impressed with how on the ball Todor was and how well he handled the situation. You will definitely be well taken care of as long as...
