From the eye capturing interior design to the mouth watering menu, Mihbaj has succeeded in mirroring the middle eastern culture and cuisine in the heart of London. The menu has a good selection of middle eastern (Lebanese and Jordanian) dishes, wraps, burgers, coffees, cakes and juices. Ordered the following: Chicken steak burger with sweet potato fries: The chicken steak was well seasoned, juicy and cooked to perfection and the sweet potato fries were well seasoned. The only downside was the burger bun which was cold and not toasted. Cappuccino tasted great and the banana and walnut cake was delicious and moist. I was there on a very busy Saturday afternoon. Downstairs there is another dining area with three dining tables. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. Price is reasonable considering the location and quality of the food. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm passing Paddington Train Station.

We were in London for a close friend's wedding and stayed in a hotel near Paddington. Mihbaj was just around the corner and turned out to be a superb choice for brunch. My wife is vegetarian and I follow a plant based diet. Plenty of choices for both of us. My good lady ordered the halloumi sandwich, I ordered the signature "wafalafel" and we had a side of houmous and coffees and shared a "vitality" juice of carrot, orange, ginger and turmeric - just the ticket after an evening of unlimited red wine. We sat in the back of the restaurant, which is semi-open air - it was a beautiful, warm, sunny May morning. Warm, friendly welcome, great service and the food is just delicious. I'd sell my soul for the wafalafel recipe! Would happily travel all the way from Maidenhead to London by train just to eat here again.

I have been coming to this coffee for five years and I panicked today when I searched for the sign and I couldn't find it 😳 The Manager is the same but the Café is now independent and I eas relieved to recognise the interiors and the Manager. I remember sitting by the window, before Covid, drinking my latte, watching the world go by... The world goes by a little less now, everything has changed but this Cafe is still as good as I remember. Coffee is creamy and nutty, my latte was the perfect temperature as well and I have had to tell the Barista how happy I was 😁 The little "conservatory" at the back is still thete, the beautiful tree died but the seats are comfy and colourful and it is a No Smoking spot! I will come back again, the Staff is just as kind and friendly as I remember...

Mihbaj café, near Paddington Station, was the perfect location to relax during the stress of ongoing delays caused by engineering works on the trains. We decided to make the most of the time and settled in for a leisurely breakfast starting with two delightful teas: an Arabic Breakfast tea infused with thyme, rosemary, mint, and basil, and a Bedouin tea, with a warming blend of smoked sage and crushed cardamom pods. I asked for a little honey, which they didn’t have but they kindly offered maple syrup, which was a surprising and pleasant match.

For breakfast, we shared the Fluffy Ijjeh, a traditional Palestinian omelette, it was bright, light and flavourful. We also tried the Levantinian Continental breakfast, which came with a beautiful spread of olives, olive oil, zaatar (a fragrant spice blend), makdous (marinated eggplants stuffed with sundried tomatoes and nuts), and labneh. For our sides, we chose the feta haydari (a rich feta spread with herbs) and mihbaj hummus, which was velvety and smooth and was the best hummus I’ve ever had - apologies to my friend Akmal who previously held the title)

Although they offer a variety of classic breakfast options like Eggs Benedict and French Toast, Mihbaj shines with its authentic Middle Eastern flavours. If you're in the Paddington area, I highly recommend indulging in this exceptional and uniquely tasty experience. The food is thoughtfully crafted and the service warm and friendly, making it a standout spot for savouring...

One of the top restaurants in London !

The minute you step into the restaurant you are greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff members. Very nice atmosphere with cultural decorative wall prints that bring so many memories back.

Palestinian cuisine is known for their authentic “Aubergeine maqlobeh” where nowhere does it better than Mihbaj. One warmth spoon of Maqlobeh is full great spices that make it an indulgent dish.

Hommous was perfectly done! I suggest trying with fresh baked bread. After all of that, I was shocked once I knew it was homemade prepared from scratch.

The top king of the menu is the “Shish Barak” dumplings cooked in yogurt sauce. It was an excellent option to order. Loved the taste, texture and everything about this dish. I have tried it before in many different places but always was disappointing, however at Mihbaj the experience was pleasing and will always come back again to order it!!

All in all, can’t recommend Mihbaj enough!! Had a great experience trying the food for the first time and will be visiting more often with family...
