This hotel is absolutely awful! Here are my reasons why I rated this way:
It is right off of the highway. It wouldn't be so bad, but the windows are so thin that not even the a/c drowns out the sound of traffic.
They have a "secured" parking lot. However, during my 3 day stay, I never had to use my key because the gate was never closed (11am, 4pm, 130am).
The staff was not friendly, but they are nicer than manager, "Michael V". When you walk in, you are not greeted with smiles. Instead, you are greeted with frowns and blank stares as if you are bothering them to check in.
This place makes you feel criminalized or something. I'll touch more on this later.
There are fees for everything! Fees that are only mentioned when you are actually at the property. Early check in fee (even if rooms are available), early check out fee if staying more than 2 days, fee if you take any of the breakfast (which is a joke) to your room. I'm sure there may be more. (Refer to #4).
The hotel offers a "business center", which consists of ONE computer in a tiny closet like room. Here's the thing, the "business center" is accessible by key. Not a room key, but an actual key. The front desk staff has to unlock the door for you, and type in the password to access the Internet. The computer automatically boots you after 10 mins with no warning. If you need to sign back on, you have to call the front desk and they physically come and reach over you to type the password in vs giving it to you (a paying guest). (Refer to #4).
I called around 2am for a late check out the following morning. I was told by Moses it would be $25 and I would be extended to 2pm. I went to the desk that morning around 6am with my credit card. They had already supposedly made a copy of my Drivers license. When the manager asked for my id, I said I left it in my room, but it should be on file. He rolled his eyes, and went and pulled it. Before I went through with adding the late check out, I asked, "and that's til 2 correct". Very flatly and rudely he said, "no! 1!" I explained the guy last night said 2 to which he replied, "it's 1!"
I had a room with 2 queen beds. They were actually comfortable, but I realized the bed I was sleeping in had blood stains on the comforter. I informed the front desk. I cameback later that day after housekeeping had serviced the room. The took the stained comforter, but did not replace it. I ended up sleeping in the other bed.
The WiFi was horrible! Took forever to connect. Had to try multiple times.
The room had a microwave and fridge, but the cabinet there are behind was broken, and the fridge, on the coldest temp, kept my drinks cool, at best.
Horrible....
Read moreStayed here for a day because we had family to visit at one of the hospitals in downtown. Originally had booked for 3 days and we left after the first night to a different hotel. It says they have gated parking but the gates are broken and don’t work at all. The whole parking lot was fenced but was useless since there was several spots where the boards were just broken and the parking lot was filled with broken down junk cars. We checked in and the lady at the front was nice I’ll say that but the hotel looks completely rundown and unkept. All the couches they had downstairs were stained and had a smell, the elevators were dirty and had graffiti written all over which was barely wiped off. Upon entering the room everything looked dirty even though it was clean. Bed sheets had all types of stains on them, the fridge was dirty and not cold at all, microwave was dirty as well. When we went inside the bathroom the toilet had someone else’s hair in there, the tub was peeling completely off from where the drain is and looked dirty and rusty so we didn’t even bother showering. The water from the sink sprayed out and you could tell they have never cleaned that faucet opening so me and my family used water bottles to wash our face and hands and to brush our teeth. My parents didn’t even wanna use the bedsheets so they just laid down and used their sweaters as blankets. Their “light breakfast” is just old cereal either cold coffee and juice machines that don’t work. Overall I would not recommend this hotel at all since there is better hotels around for the same price or maybe a little more but definitely more worth it...
Read moreI only came here on a regular because 1.it was close to my place and I needed to relax in the jet tub. But then I started to see how crappy this place was when the a/c unit located in the bathroom in room 228 poured water on the floor all night which I did report to the hotel who emailed me saying they were sorry and they would do better I was ok until I got booked the same room "TWO WEEKS LATER" but this time I woke up to go to the bathroom and due to being prego I was in a rush to get there and as soon a my feet touched the flooded floor I slipped and fell on the hard cold and "flooded" floor so this time I wanted to speak to the hotel management directly after playing phone tag I got a call from the hotels "P.R"Who tried to make up a story about the shower I had yet to turn on had caused the floor to be "FLOODED" that was until I let him know I made a video of how it was pouring on to the floor he then said they would refund me the money for my stay but then told me and my boyfriend that we could never stay there again as if we did something wrong when they are the ones who messed up and I am thinking long and hard about taking legal action against these jerks because of their negligence I was hurt and put in a situation where my unborn was in danger of being hurt. Shame on this hotel and it's rude crappy management I know I will never say this place is a good place to stay and looking at other post the "BED BUGS" are cozy...
