We were messaging Marcos on marketplace and found he had great customer services, so we decided to come pick out a couch from there and have it delivered. Honestly that was such an awful mistake. I am appalled by the treatment in which we have received. We’ve been lied to on multiple occasions within the last week. We paid $200 in the beginning of the purchase assuring that it would be 2 days because it was a holiday so it should have been delivered on the 2nd of January. I called at 7PM that day and they told me that it was out of stock and they forgot to tell me so they would deliver it on Thursday now. Thursday comes around and I called at 6PM asking where they were and they told me that they couldn’t deliver it to me because they were too “backed up” and that it would be now delivered Friday. Obviously I was mad, but like okay whatever. About 7:30 PM Thursday I get a call stating that they were here to deliver the couch even though they just told me they weren’t going to be there until the next day. I was happy that they were able to deliver it Thursday instead of Friday but thennnn we were delivered a faulty product in which I was ASSURED would be replaced, and not only was it not replaced it was stitched up with obviously different color stitches which are extremely sharp. In addition, the “manager” asked me over and over and over if I was sure that they were delivered to me that way as if I WAS LYING when the guy who delivered the couches was the one to call and talk to the manager because the product was ripped and sewn incorrectly. The throw pillows also had strings hanging off every single one of them like they were drug down the street and shredded. They came to my house to pick up the cushions and pillows but then told me that they wouldn’t replace the pillows because it was “normal wear and tear” when it’s supposed to be a BRAND NEW COUCH THAT IVE ONLY HAD FOR 3 DAYS!!! Anyways, they took the cushion and left the pillows and told me that I could cut the strings off myself. It’s been 2 days now of being lied to and I was told the reason for the delay of it being replaced was because the manufacturers were taking a long time to deliver the new product but they just dropped the product off after multiple days of telling me that it will be delivered “that same day” and the product is literally stitched awfully! The cushion was sewn incorrectly in the first place and they tried to sew it down and now it looks even worse LOL like I’m laughing at the fact that they thought this was acceptable to return to me and try to tell me that it was replaced by the manufacturer. Like they really delivered me this product back to me assuring that it was replaced by the manufacturer and it looks like it was sewn up with black fishing wire in someone’s backyard. I’m just appalled by this whole situation and we normally get all of our furniture from American Furniture Warehouse but I wanted to give this place a try and man do I regret that dumb choice. If you want a couch that’s gonna look used, employees where none of them deliver the same information, and everyone associated is a sleazy liar then look no further, MODA is here for you! Comfort: When I first sat on it, it seemed comfortable, but after a few days, it became clear that it was far from supportive. The cushions have already started to sag, and it's not the plush experience I was expecting. It's uncomfortable to sit on for extended periods, and the lack of support is causing back pain.
Durability: The fabric began to show signs of wear and tear much sooner than anticipated. There are visible scratches and fading, even though we’ve been careful to avoid rough treatment. For the price, I expected better quality materials that would hold up over time.
Assembly: Putting it together was a nightmare. Several parts didn’t fit properly. After struggling for hours, we ended up with a sofa that’s not entirely stable. It wobbles and feels flimsy, which is concerning given how little use it’s had.
Customer Service: Reaching out to customer service was another ordeal. Their response was slow, and they were unhelpful in addressing the issues with the sofa. I was given vague instructions on how to fix the problems myself, which was not what I expected for such an expensive piece of furniture.
Overall, this sofa has been a major disappointment. It doesn’t live up to the promises made in the product description and is certainly not worth the investment. I regret my purchase and would advise others to look elsewhere for a more reliable and comfortable option.

They don’t want to cancel the transaction when they receive a call from the leasing company regarding this. I was supposed to get my sofa 9/16/2024 and this is the time and I still don’t have a sofa. The actual sellers scam me saying that they will be delivered and that time but the fact is that they call me at last minute to let me know they don’t have a estimate on when the sofa will be arriving to the store. They try to lure me with a different lower sofa, and they offer me more pieces for it to be equal in the price I paid first which I declined. After all this I call the leasing company (Koalafi.) and ask them to cancel my account and refund me the money I initially paid plus 1 month and they are making it difficult and favoring the merchant. They have recoding proof of the merchant accepting that they have not send the sofa, they have many other proof I have provided and they still need the merchant (MODA FURNITURE) to cancel the transaction for them to issue a refund which Moda is declining to do so. My question is why? It’s this time and I DONT HAVE A SOFA! I open a police report against Moda, they false advertising in Facebook claiming they have a certain sofa when the fact is they don’t have it.
