Travelers, this is the place to stop and eat and shop. So many international, high end products. Buffet food is yummy and diverse. Vegetables, bbq, pasta dishes, chicken, salad bar, olive bar all loaded with delicious salads and other choices. The groceries are fresh, local and international. Try the olive oil, local fruits and vegetables and local dairy as well as international cheeses. Some cheese I can only find here. Homemade breads are wonderful and good luck trying to ignore the fabulous pastry section. It is amazing and so high end. The spices are diverse and you can get anything even saffron. You can get duck eggs, which are fantastic for baking because they make things rise better. 1 duck eggs equals 2 chicken eggs. Anyway also they sell quail eggs and regular chicken eggs. The maple farm milk is from around the corner and is a cut above other milks. It looks like a small store but they even sell beer and wine. The make food to order, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas all in addition to the buffet. This is a...
Read moreLast time I was here pre-Covid it was a full fledged grocery store with regular foot traffic. Returned a week ago to see what has changed and was very disappointed. First was the remarkable lack of people in the store despite it being the holiday season and tons of traffic. The produce upon walking in was brown and rotting. The store itself had almost no fresh produce, and the meat section didn’t look great so I steered clear m. We checked out the prepared food section and found it to look dried out and unappetizing. We purchased a Turkish soda, baklava from the prepared foods, a candy bar and some spices. The soda was unfortunately flat, the baklava was rancid (either the oil or pistachios went bad but it was not edible) and the candy bar turns out says “not for resale” in Turkish as it was part of a larger pack and it too was old and no good when we tried it.i had to throw out everything we purchased. Overall it was a...
Read moreFor people coming from Boston or Watertown who are familiar with Russo's, Maple Farm Foods has the same set-up inside...one enters with a cart and immediate proceeds through the produce section, then on to fruit, and on through every section in what is a single aisle so that one doesn't have to go looking through different rows for one's needs. It is a very well thought out design, funneling the consumer through all they might need in a shopping experience. The organization of the whole store is unique to the area, and I find it extremely helpful to go through every department. Other grocery stores could boost consumer satisfaction by re-organizing to Maple Farm Foods' design. Excellent produce, very well organized and efficient shopping experience, pleasant staff, great prices. I highly recommend Maple Farms Foods over other grocery...
