Went to Panera by bus and walking from Umass to get my Boyfriend who is unable to consume any type of meat one of his favorite treats Mac and Cheese Bread Bowl + a Large mac and cheese. After talking with the Cashier in Hadley Kathryn for awhile to sort out things I thought one of my favorite food chains had got it right. By the time I get back to my dorm and give it to my boyfriend, he checks and its just the basic bread bowl + very small mac and cheese + apple combo. Ontop of that the mac and cheese had bacon mixed into it, so basically it had to be thrown out since he can't eat any meat. Contacted customer support through questions section since they don't have a clear area for complaints unless you go back to the store, which for a busy UMass students who has to take the bus to get to and from there, thats not very viable to do. I hope that this Panera can learn from its mistakes. Never has happened before, done this hundreds of times, first time ordering from here. Not going again unless...
Read moreHonestly I would give it normally 4 stars but today was 2 stars at best. There was hard plastic in the chicken in my sandwich that would have been very easy to choke on. Otherwise tasted good as usual but kind of hard to finish when I’m paranoid picking through my sandwich for more shards of plastic. Thankfully I bit into it and didnt swallow, so it wasnt really a big deal, but a if a kid got that piece of chicken or something it couldve been a big problem.
Also, the tile work on the new fireplace is absolutely horrid. I sincerely hope they didnt pay for it. I genuinely could do a better tile job while blindfolded. Heck, if they need someone to come in and redo it, they can reach out and I’ll give a decent discount. Many other parts of the renos also look like cheap and poorly done diy work too, but the fireplace was the most glaring offender. Whatever contractor did that should be ashamed- and if it was a diy, id recommend a professional next time or at least...
Read moreVery disappointing lunch visit around 130 pm today. The young lady at the register told us about ways to lower the price on their lobster roll but it was too confusing. There was no one in line. I split a Toasted Garden Caprese. The one good thing is that they put it on two plates. The sandwich: My half had one very thin piece of tomato, a scattering of lettuce and a half of piece of mozzarella! The other half had two very thin slices of tomato! I went up to show them and first response was: "that's they way it comes." I further explained that there was "missing" mozzarella and tomatoes, $1.50 worth of sandwich, not a $12.94 sandwich I paid for. Total rip off. She asked me what I wanted and I told her more tomato and more cheese. She threw a piece of tomato and a piece of cheese in the micro in a cup and handed it to me. It was not busy, it was a poorly maid expensive piece of French bread. I'm going to need to stick...
