Mezeh continues to add locations in the Triangle with the latest in Apex at the junction of 64 and 55. This location just opened on 8/26 with friendly staff and fresh food.

This is a "build you own bowl" type of place with one of more base (greens, spinach, rice, cauliflower rice), protean (chicken, lamb, falafel, steak) and a TON of toppings to choose from, the most I've seen of any place like it. You can also get it in a pita or wrap.

The best thing is the food is fresh AND tasty -- full of flavors from that part of the world.

The hardest part is to choose which toppings, sauces, and hummus you want, given all the choices you have. Not sure if there is a limit on the number but it's higher than the number of toppings I asked for (around 10).

Check out the eggplant topping - excellent! The roasted chickpea is also very good and adds a nice crunchy texture to it.

The décor is inviting, and very nicely themed. The price is on par with other restaurants of this type but the food and the selection is much better.

The portion size is generous. Many will be able to get a meal and half or two meals out of one bowl order.

We ate there on opening day and was told the outdoor seating area will be installed shortly (within a few days) so by the time you read this, it's probably done.

This is a great addition to the Apex / Cary / Morrisville area. We now have two of them -- one here in Apex and another one at the Wegmans plaza on Davis Drive just over the Cary border in Morrisville. Both are...

Food was pretty good but not great, the pita bread wasn’t fully cooked. There are no menus in the restaurant anywhere. When you get to the spot where you order there’s a QR code for the menu. The QR takes you to a build your own page with NO prices or descriptions of you’re not familiar with all of the Mediterranean items on the menu. I consider myself to be very technologically savvy & able to figure things out quickly but their menu & ordering process was confusing, especially for first time guests. It’s like they assume everyone walking in has been there before & is very familiar with all Mediterranean foods. I didn’t feel like it was a good value considering it was $24 + tax for just 2 bowls at lunch with nothing else, especially since there are no prices anywhere. Had no idea that steak is a $3.00 up charge, again, no prices anywhere in the restaurant or on their website. Additionally, when I asked for cauliflower rice, I was told that they don’t have cauliflower rice, it’s been replaced with something similar. As I questioned the Manager about what it is, he explained that it’s made from Bulgur Wheat. I’m sorry Mezeh Manager (who appeared to be a teenager) Bulgur Wheat rice is NOT similar to cauliflower rice and it is NOT gluten or grain free which is a major reason many people chose...

I visited Mezah for the first time on February 3rd at 2:15, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. First off, the customer service wasn’t great. The staff didn’t seem very attentive, and the side options available to go in my bowl were surprisingly limited, especially when the place was empty. I used tap pay to complete my order, but I had no idea what was coming next.

As I was walking out to the parking lot, I received a strange charge on my credit card for $12,000. Thankfully, it was declined, but what followed was even more concerning. I got a call from someone claiming to be "Apple Support," asking if I had made the charge. Long story short, my phone was hacked, and I was scammed for nearly $800. The hackers even gained access to my phone. The process of trying to recover my information has been a complete nightmare.

I called Mezah immediately to inform them of what had happened, but there was no answer. I tried calling 2-5 more times throughout the week, hoping to get some kind of response or resolution, but I still haven’t received a call back.

The lack of communication from Mezah, combined with the issues I encountered, has left me frustrated and disillusioned with the experience. Be cautious if you visit—this situation was a real...

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. The girl working didn’t make me feel rushed to pick and took her time explaining things to me. She also made suggestions and since I was undecided she suggested I can build my own bowl. The pita was so light and fluffy. Loved it. I wish it came with two pieces instead of one. I loved the suggestions for the sodas. I got the spicy chicken and falafel with crispy chickpeas, taziki, arugula, and a few other toppings. The ONLY thing I would say bad is that they ran out of forks and asked my friend to just use a spoon. Who eats a salad with a spoon. They offered metal and plastic and not sure how difficult it is to go back and wash some metal forks because they were not busy at all. That felt like telling someone to eat soup with a fork. lol. He happened to find one plastic fork hidden in the containers by the soda. We ate outside which was very lovely but I wished they had umbrellas to keep the sun out of our faces while we ate. When finished it was very clear when coming in where our dishes went. I did not like that there was not a public restroom either. How are you going to offer all that fiber and not have a bathroom?! Haha. I would def eat here again. Maybe BYOF😂😂

This review mainly pertains to the lack of accountable customer service from Mezeh. Ordered take-out from this location. I noticed when I got home that they missed adding a protein that they had charged for. I called the number listed on the order email confirmation to just get refunded for the missed protein. You would think that would be easy enough. Not quite! When I called the location, the restaurant rep said they can't provide refund on any online order (including orders made on their own website). She suggested that I reach out to customer support via the app/website to get help for the online order. However, when I click on "Contact Us" on their website, the message I got was " If you have any questions on your online order, please contact the specific location for assistance", thus creating a perfect loop of unaccountability.
