Red Lobster — Restaurant in Arlington

I went here mid day . It was my first time at this location . When I walked in honestly it smelled alittle musty . I asked for a drink while ordering food and waiting on appetizer everything seemed fine . I recieved my drink and was told the appetizer would be here shortly . I tasted my drink it was definitely not what I ordered and tasted kind of soapy . So I got the waitress ( by the way the waitress was nice and did a good job ) and I asked her if this was the right drink and it tasted not right she apologized and said she would get the bartender but he wasnt behind the bar she had to find him . After she went in the back looking for him I noticed a guy behind the bar dressed in jeans with holes and some old sweat shirt kind of on the dirty side i assumed he was the dish washer or garbage guy ( nothing bad about garbage guys or dish washers ) I asked him did he know where the bar tender is ? He said he is the bartender .. I was thinking wth but ok I asked if he made the drink i asked for he said he didnt know but would remake what i wanted so I told him and he started .. first he dont know what hes doing but thats ok to a point so i tell him how to make it very simple 2 ingredients . Then he cuts the lime on the middle of the counter in half the flaps the cut side down on the dirty counter and cuts it again then puts it in my glass takes a rag out and wpies the mess up . I didnt drink the drink obviously . So i go back and site at my seat by the window get my food lobster.. I open my napkin for the utensils my fork has a chunk of food on it . The waitress gives my another one and seriously the fork and knife was dirtier .... finally the 3rd one was clean .. I guess or looked clean by this time im not really hungry but try to eat and get out of there . I'm sitting there eating listening to people in the kitchen laughing and joking around the whole time with eachother it was crazy .. I look outside I'm in a booth by the window and the ',bartender" it in front of the restaurant smoking a cigarette .. this place needs some type of management and someone to clean house there .. I would not recommend going here to anyone .. sorry for long review but trust me until they make some serious changes DO...

Horrible experience with the rude hostess. My mom came from out of town and wanted to eat at her favorite restaurant so I stopped by the cooper location. I walked up to the hostess and asked, can we have a booth. I saw a section of clear booths and pointed over there…. HERE’s how the conversation went. Me: Can we sit over there in one of those booths? Vicky: they’re not clean is that the only area you want to sit in? Me: One of those booths over there is fine. Vicky: Stares at me…..Laughs “DID YOU NOT HEAR WHAT I JUST SAID THEY AREN’T CLEAN!!!!! Then she looks in my mothers face and says” I said they haven’t been clean that’s why I asked you were else you would like to sit. Me: Ma’am I told you anywhere over there is fine! (We can clearly see THE BOOTHS ARE CLEAN) Vicky: They aren’t clean!!!! Me: That booth is clean Vicky: Let me see what we have…. There’s a clean on right there (THE ONE I ASKED HER TO SIT IN WHEN WE FIRST WALKED IN THAT SHE SWORE WASNT CLEAN) We walked over to the booth and as we passed by them Vicky said, “here’s a clean one!) (THE SAME ONE I MENTIONED AT FIRST) I worked at Red lobster when I was 16. If a customer wanted a table that was open, we sat them there. The table apparently only needed to be wiped because it had nothing on it but the plastic drink menu that goes on clean tables. I’m not understanding if she thought it was dirty why she couldn’t wipe it off. I would’ve wiped it off since she didn’t want to , but we didn’t see any dirt. Right after that guess what Vicky did?? Sat people at this “dirty (clean) table.

Please pull the footage to see how rude Vicky was. The only reason I went ahead and stayed was because my mother was hungry and wanted to eat at her favorite restaurant. I'm writing this review as I'm sitting and waiting for a small order I placed an hour ago. Arrived and have yet to be addressed by a worker after 25 min and am standing next to another customer who hasn't been spoken to either. It's a slow Monday so I'm looking for any reason why this is ok and have yet to find one. 28 minutes and counting.. not a single word from a staff member as we wait at the " TO GO " door just to be seen. One walked by (the host) just now so I asked her and said we hadn't been helped and she said to ask the bar after the bar tender walked by and said it was the host that should be helping us. Nobody knows their job here and doesn't care. I will take my money and time elsewhere from now on. The workers names were Adrian (an extremely rude young Hispanic bartender that took his name tag off and removed it from being seen on his shirt after I asked what his name was) and Jantz ( the hostess that rolled her eyes and never cared to do her job either) . Don't expect good service from them and putting their names incase management isn't as sorry as the people they hire and cares to look at reviews. Only ONE employee-mrs Victoria- was polite and courteous. Thank you Victoria. Adrian walked off when he brought my food 30 min after getting here so I asked for his name and he never came back nor told it to me! I saw that he removed it after I stared to make out what it said after our first encounter when he was rude but the second time I saw him it was gone! Can I even trust the food he just handed me? Mary Johnson is the general managers name as posted on the door. I hope Adrian and Jantz find a job they actually care to do and get out of the service industry because their attitudes were awful and a poor representation of a location I...
