DO NOT STAY HERE! Where do I start? Well first off the lobby looks nice but beware once you go through those doors to your room, the smell of trash hits you in the face! Figured I’d just rough it out since I was only going to be there for 12 days and working the majority of the time and only needed a place to sleep and shower. Day 2 while at work, with no notice whatsoever, they had workers in my room to swap out the furniture. I personally don’t understand why it couldn’t wait till I checked out or asked me to move to a different room that had the furniture already swapped out. I had cash and valuables left out. Fortunately nothing decided to “walk”! The entire stay there were people that weren’t staying at the extended stay, running the hallways at all times, day and night. This didn’t make for a good nights sleep. The exterior doors were constantly propped open to allow these “visitors” access. When you would go out and actually shut one of these exterior doors you had people threatening to fight you for access to the building. I had to use the excuse that I forgot my room key as well, and would have to go back to the front desk for access to avoid the confrontation as much as possible. I had approached management about this and they stated they were aware of the problem and “working on it”. Next I go to the store to get some food because the point of an extended stay is the kitchenette. It’s meant to reduce food costs while traveling for work. I went to the store and got some groceries and put them away. Asked for their complimentary kitchen pack and was given a couple of plastic cups, a bowl, and a couple of paper plates. Pretty sure they’re supposed to offer some cooking items like a couple pans ,toaster, utensils, ect. So needless to say I was unable to cook any of the food I had purchased short of some microwave cheeseburgers. Upon taking food out of the freezer I noticed that the food was not frozen. Freezer was bad. Addressed management with this problem to only be offered the resolution of keeping my food in their freezer downstairs. In my opinion that’s not a resolution. I shouldn’t have to leave my room, go to the lobby, wait for someone to come to the desk, and then go retrieve my food from their freezer. All this over the course of 12 days, well 11 because I checked out a day early. Contacted their guest relations May 21st, 2025, about my stay at Arlington-Six Flags. The site manager refunded me 1 night, 69.04. I told him that didn’t even cover the cost of the food I had to throw out and I didn’t feel like that was a proper resolution. He stated that’s all he was going to do and I could contact Extended Stay upper management if I wanted any additional reimbursement. I called, and called, and called, and called. Their customer service people are solely “gatekeepers” for upper management. You are told you’ll receive a call back within 48 business hours. You wait, never receive a call back, only to call back and have to wait another 48 business hours. After a month and a half of this run around I demanded to speak to their supervisor , the ones not returning my call within 48 business hours. Finally reached a manager by the name of Terry. He emailed me so I supposedly had a direct means of contacting them. Received the email pictured below only to be blown off for another 3 weeks. Note all the times I had emailed them since. Called today July 24th,2025 to find out that they had received a resolution on July 8th from upper management. Guess what? The resolution is the one night they refunded me was all that they were going to do! So not only is Arlington-Six Flags Extended Stay not worth the 69.04 a night. Their guest relations doesn’t treat their customers any better.

I wish I could give this place negative stars because I would give it a -100 stars this place should not be allowed to operate. I feel really bad because the front desk agent was really really nice and sympathetic and understanding I came in and advised her that I had to login remotely to start working at 8 AM but I wasn’t supposed to check in until after 3 PM, so she was kind enough to let me check in at 8 AM. Yes that’s right 8 AM. But then I get to my room in for the first hour all I can hear is a very irate gentleman yelling at someone I assume cursing throwing things and it sounded like it was in my room but it wasn’t. Also, the furniture is falling apart. It’s missing pieces. There is black mold under the sinks. There is absolutely nothing in the kitchen. No utensils no nothing is provided, the stove looks extremely dangerous to operate and frankly, I think violates a lot of health codes. There’s only one trashcan for the entire place. You have to use that trashcan for the bathroom, kitchen and living area. There is no phone in the room to call room, service or to call the front desk. You have to walk all the way down there it’s just really really sad and I’ve never seen anything like this. Please don’t stay here. if extended stay was that sorry about it they would refund me the cancellation fee of 75

When we arrived the staff tried to say that they were fully booked and didn't have a room for but the front desk associate called her manager and they found out what the issue was. From the smell I'm assuming the only smoking banned at this location is nicotine related product. The hallway walls desperately need to be scrubbed and some of the pry plates on guest doors were damaged or missing. When we got to our room there were missing lights and vents. Water damage had caused peeling paint and made a hole in the ceiling. The dresser drawers were broken and since we were missing a dishwasher they hung a board over it that falls if you touch it. It seems like hotel is doing its best for pest control but there are still bugs that need to be taken care of. If it wouldn't have left us without a place to go we would have checked out immediately.

I stayed here early summer for a while and it was terrible! Although reservations were made and a confirmation was given, upon arrival I was told I had no room. I arrived (Dropped off as I was traveling) a little after 4pm, once the Front desk said I had no room inspite of showing my email receipt and confirmation I tried to speak with Mgmt, who was not available so I was back and forth on the phone to reach someone at Corporate. This went on for a while. I knew no one in the area so I kept fighting to get Corporate to handle it,finally near 11:30pm I was given a room. I was to meet family arriving the next day and I did and the Experience of our stay only got worse. Some of the Housekeeping and Maintenance staff seemed nice, but the Mgr. She had a foul attitude, "Nice Nasty" as elders say. We would speak to the guests and staff, and just tried to make the best of the stay but it was not great. The Rooms had a smell, the pull out sofa bed in our room was broken and no mattress, the doorlock (keyless) was broken and oven didn't work.I mentioned the issues and was moved to another Room that was no better. There were bed bugs in that room and the stove had 1 working burner. I also noticed in the Laundry a sign was posted that change was given at the front desk, but when I asked for it, never was it available. I also was met with attitude and unprofessionalism at the front desk by that Female Mgr. When I went to get linen. I went to ask about linen and she started loud talking me about an issue that she needed to discuss with the Man handling that particular issue. As she was raising her octaves as people came through the front and guest door I was trying to reach this man on the phone. ( I felt like I walked into something and wasn't sure what she was talking about but he might), she continued in her Ghetto foolishness and I said Excuse me why are you speaking that way to me, I have done nothing to you, we are not that type of people, and she kept on talking rudely. I walked off and got in touch with the Gentleman I was trying to reach at the start of that Mgrs tyraid and let him know what happened and I called Corporate and filed a complaint against her regarding her foolishness and disrespect. I and my guest were on our phones handling Business and we heard a knock on the door . The keyless latch was on, I checked the peephole and it was the GM, I told my caller please hold and got the door I said hi( I spoke to him before downstairs, he seemed decent not like that rude Mgr lady) he was at the door and she was off to the side. He came because she lied and fm. What I understood of what he was saying, was we didn't pay. ???? Are you kidding me? Liar. She was trying to retaliate against me for calling Corporate. I've heard her before in my passing through the front, spk to other Customers Rudely and I guess she thought I would just tolerate the same evil. No. Treat people the way you want to be treated no matter who you are. I again contacted the Gentleman who they actually needed to spk with. He said he tried calling them and they wouldn't Answer, I'm at the door for the GM to hear for himself the same account of what happened down stairs as we said it to him. The GM kept looking in her direction as if she was leading him with questions and what to say. His demeanor changed from nice to stern , my guest came to the door to find out what the issue was and was met with the same attitude as downstairs then they left our door. A few minutes later another knock and it was the Police and Mgmt. They stuck with the lie of " not paying " so I showed my receipt, they showed the GM( he was only going off of her word the Mgr who was rude to me downstairs) he never verified her claim just ran with her lie and wanting to call the cops. ( She was trying to retaliate against me for filing a complaint against her) so she lied and escalated this to this point. The GM saw my receipt and looked at her like you said they didn't pay ! The Police & GM saw her lie,& said it fell under the Eviction law shook...

🤯 this is NOT a brand-represented Extended Stay. Certainly I've stayed at better Motel 6. As soon as you walk in to the 'lobby' (ha!) you know it's all wrong. I've stayed at Ext Stay several times, between 5 days and 2 weeks, for work and for travel - I 'lived' at one in Massachusetts for 3 months for business. The people living here are really living here, locals waiting for their Section 8. This place is a terrifying revolting dump with an Ext Stay sign outside. It's dilapidated, filthy, vandalized, the people are sketchy, the roaches are rampant. I had driven in, was in town at least a week, and had nowhere else to go. I'm used to roughing it for a night or two, but I wanted to relax after over 2000 miles?! Signs say there are cameras - there are no cameras anywhere, outside or in. Only 1 working elevator that was straight out of the ghetto - other than loading I used the stairs. Broken, trash and cigarette strewn. Room smelt of smoke and piss. The whole place smells of smoke and people are openly smoking. Room is just shocking. Old, broken and disgusting. I didn't touch anything more than I had to, I wiped down some key surfaces with Lysol and gagged. I wrapped a Tshirt around the pillow. I wore PJs and refused to pull the blanket over me, the undersheet alone was stained. 2 yucky towels for the entire week, signs in the lobby refusing more, I went to Walmart to buy some. Lukewarm water in the shower. I didn't use the 'kitchen' - looked dated from the 70s, tiny and filthy and falling apart. just used the surface for my kettle, coffee and snacks. I asked for some plates and mugs, nothing more because I wasn't cooking ... the stuff they gave me was stained and dirty. Didn't use, got disposable from the $ store. People are coming and going and making noise at all hours. I was very careful not to let people see me come and go, I didn't feel it safe. The doors have metal on them to prevent being jimmied open!! - but you can see that its useless anyway, most of the doors have clearly been broken into at one time or another and most others I myself could very likely get into with little effort should I choose to. Being broken into whilst away from the room was a recurring fear here. Ironically - and depressingly - there's a Hilton right across the street. This is a busy and convenient location. This place needs to absolutely be stripped of the Ext Stay name and acknowledged as the by-the-week locals motel that it is. I didn't even check out in person - I fled at 6 in the morning. I know this 'review' is long but I can't stress enough - especially to those like me familiar with the Ext Stay brand -...
