I didn't even have to stay at this place to have a bad experience, 600$ for 2 weeks on a discounted rate, this man not knowing that my mom works for wyndham corp. He's on the phone st a desk a bit away from front. Man does not even acknowledge my presence, I stand there for at least 10 mins before I decide to just go back outside.....come back in a few mins and ask him if it's too early to check in, mind you the place is empty you can clearly have several open rooms........first he snaps at me and says that I need to come back in at least 30 mins to an hr to check in so I proceeded to ask the second question I needed to know if they had a machine for contactless pay....he snaps again at me saying his internet is down and he can't check me in unless I'm paying cash(odd I thought if you don't have internet how would you know the totsl) then says but as for machine it works sometimes and I won't know until I try it that it's old equipment.... ALL of this said with a extremely rude tone to his voice.....I walked back outside where my BF was and tell him how rude the man was.....we grab a luggage cart and go to the lobby because it's 100 degrees outside....I go over to a corner away from the desk with the cart and plug my phone in.....he goes over to use the restroom before he even gets to the door the man says it does work. When we had gotten in with the cart a man clearly a superintendent was at the desk with the man arguing about getting refunded for one week of the 3 he had booked for 10 rooms....obviously a significant amount of money for this ghost towned hotel to me you would think he would have a higher level of cust ser with this mam considering...by the time it was done the man was like you are so rude and I will never stay at this place ever again I've stayed only at Wyndham hotels across the USA with my.men and this is by far the worst one ever...not only are you rude inconsiderate and unhelpful the place is a dump and you're lack of customers service is beyond recognition....I kinda laughed under my breath from the corner....once he was done with this guy he calls me.up there....asks my name pulls it up and says oh you're a Wyndham employee do you have a voucher, I said a what?? Never been asked for this before and stayed at several Wyndham hotels over the years....he said I knew it when I saw your broom on the cart....A broom really? I said as you can see i have an ext resver i like to keep my room clean and not sure why a broom would be your concern he said this means that i move around alot. I told him i was at the last place for 5 months and he immediately said well why did you leave, i said well not that that is any of your business but i left because it was a bad part of town drug infested and not an environ. i want to be around im a recovering addict. He laughs and said oh well youre gonna find those everywhere i have two here....so i changed the subject because i was beside myself by this point .i said sir my mother works for the corp office and I've never had to supply this before...he said well I need a voucher....I said you know what that's fine imma go somewhere else thank you...he starts to laugh and says I knew it I knew it's because you were lying, I turned around to him and said no it's because my mom is a very busy woman and I don't want to distrub her at her job over something I know isnt required.....so we wheel the cart outside as I am trying to book another place close by and also book an Uber to get there....before I can even get one done the man is outside threatening to call the cops on me if we don't leave his property. The customer service this man had was NONE and wanted to blame it on being from up north saying that's just the way they are (this was to the worker man he said this to, the man response was what rude? And proceeses to say hes traveled the Us had severral jobs up north and never exp one of his kind, hopefully you were somewhat entertained by this god awful experience.....was really the short version. DONT GO...
Read moreTalk about poor customer service. I travel a lot and have never been treated with such disrespect as I did there. The man at the front desk not only failed to greet me, but ignored me right off the bat. He then gives me a room right there in the worst location by the front desk. I asked to change rooms and after being dismissed repeatedly, he finally gave me a room upstairs. We get up to the room, the toilet doesn't work, random makeup bottle on the floor from previous guest, furniture misplaced to make moving around difficult. The air conditioner was terrible, and we were sweating all evening. On another note, I booked through Priceline and chose this hotel for the pet friendly amenity. I checked the policies and did not see anything about a pet fee. I went downstairs after being literally chased down and talked to in a foul tone and tried to reason with them and show them the policies that I had recieved. Needless to say, another rude man came out and talked over me, disregarded my concerns and demanded my money. He didn't even have the courtesy to look at what I recieved, but kept telling me I was in the wrong. Thereafter, the room key failed 3 times, conveniently in the middle of the night, when I had to run to the car a couple times. This would make for the 3rd rude employee during my 1 night stay. He was unfriendly, looked at me like I was incompetent and almost seemed as though he wasn't going to fix it the 3rd time. Morning rolls around and their breakfast was terrible. Even for some fruit and a coffee The fruit looked old and starting to go bad, the creamer was half and half cups and the muffins were ok being that they came out of a package. At check out, I let them know I was planning on staying a week while I took care of some things, but with their TERRIBLE customer service, I was going to take my business elsewhere. I know microtel isn't this bad everywhere, but this one is trash. Do yourself a favor and don't book at this location. Negative 5...
Read moreBooked our room using my husband royalty points( wyndham Diamond ) at the time of booking we did not know my husband was coming or not. So I booked the room for 4 people 3 adults and 1 child. On the way to Dallas we called to see if we can book another room using our points and the booking agents said no rooms, so my husband called the hotel and he said that there are a lot of room available. So we call the booking agent again. No rooms. So okay we can all stay in one room. We get there. On the window shelf next tot the FEONT DOOR, on the outside on the left was a bag of weed, rolled joint, cigar stuffing all over the ground. GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION!!!!. We get inside the guy that was at the desk did not listen to us and then told us “ we can not let all of you stay in a room together, because of their codes”. We tried to cancel our reservation but we would loose our 15,000 points for this one room. We asked how much for a room( keep in mind booking agents says no more rooms), he said “ $65.00 plus tax”. We end up paying $95.00.. I asked why?? He answered “ it is a handicap room”. I asked if they had computer and printer to get my in-laws tickets done for their flight. Nope neither one was working. No ice either and what I heard from other people it been broke for awhile. The front desk said they had to find their cleaning crews because they did not show up. This is what it was from the moment we got there. Got into our rooms. Nice clean rooms. Got My granddaughter ready for a swim, there was a lady that had around 10 bags sitting by the pool, she came out of the hotel. The sign say hotel guest only. Hmmmm. My granddaughter and I swam for about 3 hours. Got out and we were walking back up to the door, the “ cleaning lady” was sitting in the car with a gentleman smoking pot. Imagine that. After that we just stayed away as much as possible. ANOTHER WORDS I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY THE...
