I have always enjoyed Panda express food, and I had been craving it for several days, my wife and I went to service our vehicle at a nearby auto dealership, they told us to wait 2 hours, and I said, let’s go get some panda near us. We found this location, when we got there, they were busy as usual, preparing orders and we were just standing there, no one acknowledging our presence, or sayin something like we will be right with you, nothing. Finally, after 10 minutes, someone started taking our order, young guy who I can’t remember his name. I got my bowl, I asked employee charging for our food, the same one that served it to us, for a little cup for water, I had just had soda earlier before we went into the restaurant , he asked me is it for soda or for water? I said I just need some water. I went to the soda machine, trying to find the button for water, and he yelled at me from register, sir, you said you wanted water, and I replied yes, I’m trying to find it. I had not served anything in my cup and he was already accusing me of stealing their soda. My wife had been watching him this whole time, like he really didn’t believe me I was getting water. My wife said he stopped working, and making sure I was going to get water. But the way he yelled from the register sounded so rude. If I wanted soda, I can afford to pay for soda, I didn’t need a free 4 oz cup to fill it up with soda. My wife had a few words with him about why he was treating me like a thief. He said if you don’t like it don’t come back here. Mi wife was livid at this point. Another employee came from the kitchen asking what was going on, I said I asked for a cup of water and cashier didn’t believe me, was watching me like a hawk and when I was going through the soda options trying to find the water, he yells I asked for a cup for water. Other employee said yeah, we’ve had several complains about him. If that’s the case, he needs more training on how to deal with customers, or find another line of work. Now I won’t be able to get my panda from this location, even though it’s so convenient for me when I’m around this area of Arlington. I don’t feel I was ever rude to the employee, all I wanted was a cup of water. I won’t stop going to panda express, but I will stop going to this particular location. There are dozens of choices for food around this area, and we chose this establishment. Just trying to make someone else’s experience better than mine, make sure you ask where is the water at the fountain, before they start accusing you of abusing...
Read moreI never take the time to write reviews because I get it….some people won’t have their best day, and that ripples over to how they perform at work. I live really close to this location and we like Panda. I’ve had so many issues over the years with service, that tonight, I decided, I’m writing a review. Maybe their management will see this and make some much needed changes. It appears this location stops cooking a good 2-3 hours before they close. My son will only eat the teriyaki chicken and they are constantly out of it super early. When I asked tonight, if they would just cook some more because they are open another 2 hours, the drive thru worker said (with an attitude) they couldn’t bc it is frozen! Poor planning. They cook the chicken on the grill and their whole menu is literally chicken. One would think if you are running low on an item, you start thawing meat out before you run out! Especially if it’s hours before you close. Another visit I had to this location, I showed up 10 min before they closed and the drive thru employee came on the speaker and told me she would be right with me…I proceeded to sit there waiting for the 10 minutes, and 1 minute after the restaurant was closing they finally came back on the speaker and said “I’m sorry, we are closed.” I replied that I had been waiting there for 10 minutes. They still refused to serve me. I’ve just had way too many issues to count. That being said, I highly recommend you go to the Little Road location. I’ve had way better service there. I don’t know if it’s different management, but I’ve had to drive the extra miles to that location multiple times when the South Cooper St location either didn’t have the food in stock, closed earlier than their posted hours (because that’s happened before, as well), or make me wait in the drive thru until they are closed and then refuse to take my order. It’s a shame because my kid loves Panda but customer service isn’t their...
Read moreGreat food for a fast food Chinese place. It's been a long time since I've had Panda Express and I was a bit hesitant after reading some negative reviews of this location but overall my experience was great. I went through the drive thru and it was incredibly fast (I got my food almost immediately after paying, which is more than a lot of fast food places in the area can say). The lady working at the window was very polite which, again, is more than certain places in the same area can say.
I've seen a lot of reviews for Panda Express in the past complaining about portion size but I had no such problem, I actually ended up getting more chicken than I expected. My bowl (Honey Sesame Chicken Breast and fried rice) was perfectly balanced.
My only complaint is that the food wasn't that hot. I only live like 2 minutes down the road but by the time I got home I had to pop it into the microwave because it was only slightly warm. Some of the rice was also a very slightly crunchy but it was only a few pieces out of the entire meal and it wasn't even that crunchy, just not fully soft. I also got a chicken egg roll which I wasn't really a fan of but that could just be my own personal taste.
Overall it was a great experience and perfectly satisfied my craving. I'll definitely be back when I need a quick...
