Peter Piper Pizza — Restaurant in Arlington

I had my daughter's birthday party at this place. I'm sorry to say I had a negative experience of staff behavior(more specifically the one who was called "manager"). They did not take off my $30 deposit from my bill, although I showed the confirmation email!!!!!! Because they said that what they can see about my reservation is just a table, without hostess. I informed them that last night you called and told me you might not be able to provide hostess, because it's 4th of July, and you might be busy. I accepted and said "try your best, if you couldn't, I won't complain ". She totally denied this conversation and talked (in a sarcastic wat)about desert that they brought and we did not appreciate it. Well, because I told them at first that we don't want desert cause we have brought cake.... Anyway, she was kind of rude and her tone was very close to yelling. It was embarrassing and I felt I'm sweating. We spent around $400, we were their customers and we did not deserve that kind of behavior. I’m giving my review based on a birthday party we booked. There is only one package we can book which I was ok with, but the website definitely needs to be updated because it still shows we would receive tokens, not a fun pass. It was even allowing me to put add ons like “$25 for 100 tokens” so I was caught by surprise when I was handed fun passes. Also the package says I would receive a framed photo of the birthday star and I did not receive that. It also said they would decorate the table with balloons and there was absolutely no decorations, if I would have know that , I would have brought my own decorations. Our host was very hard to find most of the time. I had to wave down another host just to get help. The pizza was great but it did take long to get to our table. Towards the end of our two hour reservation we received our receipt and that was the end. We noticed some birthdays were being announced over the intercom and I was upset that we didn’t get that special announcement for our birthday boys. Not sure if it’s supposed to be requested or if it’s for all birthday parties but either way I would have loved to make it just a little more special...

I feel like the whole selling point of Peter Piper's Pizza is the fact that kids have the opportunity to not just Express themselves with their other friends but the opportunity to play a lot of games with their friends. It really sticks out to me as one of the main competitors to Chuck e cheese. With that being said I don't know about any other Peter Piper's pizzas but I know that this particular location is very lackluster in their games for kids. Throughout my time there with my little sister we found ourselves standing around much of the time instead of making memories because of the lack of variety of video games. I mean the whole point of the places to have fun and we found ourselves standing around rather than having fun. I will say it is fairly priced for what it is so I guess you can't complain that much. Pizza is nothing to really brag about I just hope that they expand their little game area because I know I wasn't the only one that felt the same way me and a couple of other parents express the same thoughts.
