El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Arlington

This is the only location closest to me the rice had a burnt taste to it. Just the same as the manager Every time I go in there most of the time they have the lobby closed and the employees are sitting down eating in the lobby so we go to the drive-through they have constant different employees I remember the first time I went to this location I had one of the most best experiences ever in my life there there was a younger gentleman that was very attentive and spoke to us and cared but now the manager that is there I do not know his name he is a short Hispanic guy with his hair combed back he always has an attitude and he is rude to his customers as I was trying to explain to one of the employees he spoke over me and was disrespectful when I said excuse me I still was speaking he continue to talk over me and at that point I walked out of the store my whole entire family continue to place the order I was disrespected by him as well there was two younger ladies that were there tonight and they were very rude to my daughter they were laughing amongst them self and talking about the customers something has to happen with this location and something has to change if you can see from the...

TERRIBLE SERVICE - STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. Visited today (Sunday, 03062022) at about 5 pm and saw the cashier laughing with coworkers. When she decided to approach the register to take our order, she was totally rude, short with answers and overall with a bad attitude. My son paid cash and when I placed my order and gave me the total, I asked what she had down for my order as the total was too high. Again, with a bad attitude responded that I told her to order the same as my kids, and when I asked why she rang up a $0.39 and $1.19 since I had ordered a combo, she gave me some nonsense answer and that blew my top. Asked to talk the manager and she was as rude or ruder than the employee, did not apologize, inquire or try to understand what had happened. One young lady did apologize for the bad experience and the manager gave her a “shut up” look. The manager did not know how to do a refund (because Tony had not taught her that yet) , and only the nice young knew how to do it.

Bad service and attitude is not new at this location. Will NOT return after this incident. Would give them zero stars but it was not possible.

Twice now I tried to order, about a month ago they didn't have dark meat chicken available which is our family favorite so I left(was told it would be about 45 mins to wait for it...cannot do that with a hungry toddler). Actually we were about to just get the white meat but the cashier was rude in the tone and body language. Sorry I was trying to buy food here and inconvenienced the cashier who wanted us to leave and get back to gossiping with a coworker.

Now trying to place order on Grubhub (which I thought would be a better experience), the restaurant wait time skyrocketed from 35 to 90 minutes as I was adding items, then when I go to check out it says "this restaurant cannot complete orders at this time". Wow...

The other locations are better too, although they are kinda far away so if this store cannot serve food, you'll probably want to just eat at another restaurant. The location off of highway 360 had very friendly staff and the chicken was cooked to perfection. We will order from that location from now on even though it is literally 3x as far as this location, at least we can actually get what...
