Been going to the location on Cooper how many years. Definitely do not like the layout and there was absolutely no reason to change and swip swap the men's to the women's side. I'm still trying to figure out what purpose this was done for or how it benefited the cosmetic look of the store. I absolutely cannot stand the way they set up the checkout line. Have the general managers or owners not realize that this is not only aggravating to the customer, but not done anywhere else. It actually looks stupid! By the time I find the opening through all the literally 30 to 50 other product items that are lining the area where you need room to check out. Being in retail for many years I understand the need for these impulse items to be located near the checkout. However, your line to your check out is outrageous and again stupid looking. I noticed that you were still carrying suits and shoes that you have 4 years ago. The way your men's shoes were lined up on the back wall for clearance and the way the shoes are set up at the back of the store it's just not working. I have been shopping at this store for many many years and on over 100 of your products. 99% of your suits all have the black lapel and very little change from that other than the pattern on the jackets. You need to carry more products for sizes medium and large. While I know this door caters to larger sizes I noticed that the 3x 4X and 5x had more product than any other sizes. So they are not selling obviously to individuals in that size range. It was nice to see the Hispanic manager I believe that has worked there for several years still there. Otherwise, I did not see any of the very tidy and stylishly dressed cashiers like I used to. There was nothing wrong with the cashier's dress code that waited on me. But I noticed the line of cashiers just didn't look as stylish as they have in the past. When I used to arrive at the store to check out I would always be greeted by a very stylish dressed individual with a big smile who took care of me quickly and offered me as many discounts as possible. Getting a real discount now is like pulling teeth. Just wanted to give my thoughts on this store as I see the changes and I hope that this set up works well for the company, but it doesn't work well for the customer who spends their money there. I only spent around $100 this last visit and I usually do not spend less than $400 to $500. I will of course be back to see what new products may be in stock. I am still and will always be a fan of k&g. Your company needs to give me my own store...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBEWARE OF THE ALTERATION GUY.. I went to the Irving location first and found a Kenneth Cole tuxedo jacket was $99 & pants $39.99 with alteration cost of $61 without suit included which is a great price and reasonable. Then we went to the Arlington K&G over the weekend to find the same tuxedo for my son's prom.. great selection but the alteration guy is ripping ppl off taking advantage because it's prom season. The first suit we found there was $99 for suit shirt & tie but when we went back to measure and make alterations the price shot up to $209 just for alterations suit not included in that price. And the suit was just a suit for business setting not prom.. then we went back to irving and found a tuxedo the same size as we found at the Irving location same alterations needed to be done and the alterations at Arlington for same size suit came out to be $167. We ended up going back to the Irving location and finding the same suit there as in Arlington the suit was Kenneth Cole jacket $99 pants $39.99 and the alterations were $67. I warn ppl DO NOT LET THEM RIP YOU OFF WITH ALTERATIONS IN ARLINGTON. He was asking my son to send ppl his way for prom and went on saying that the ppl before us paid $223 just for alterations suit not included. The guy is hustling ppl out of money. We will never go back to the ARLINGTON location we will stick to irving store for graduation suit. Ppl looking for prom, graduation,or any occasion should definitely be aware of the shadiness of the alteration guy there in Arlingtin store. The Irving store has excellent customer service and Cory is the go to man.. he has my son looking SHARP & SNAZZY...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am only giving one star because there is no option to leave zero stars. The floor sales people were pleasant, but the cashier was surly, cavalier and non-caring in my opinion. A women's tops were on sale buy one, get one 50% off. The prices on the two that we selected both came up at full price (same brand selected for both) as the sales sign advised. I advised the cashier of the error, the cashier went on to say, well the computer is right, you have two choices, pay full price for both, or take them off of the order. I said no, I want them for the price posted. She again advised of the two options pay full price or leave them. I said no, I want them as posted, for her to check the sign, she adamantly refused. She offered her manager, I said will I receive the same resistance and lousy service, she said yes ( then tried to convince me she was not providing lousy service). I said I'm not going to waste my time. Remove the items at question, she then proceeded to ask my wife if that was okay to remove the items., I said I just told you to remove these items. She then very disrespectfully said well she will wear them, I said yes, but I am paying for them. We removed the entire order except for two items and left. I have been shopping at K &G since 1995. Rest assured we will NEVER...
