This review is based on an interaction with Co Manger Bret. Overall shopping at this location has normally been a pleasure met with a clean and organized store with friendly staff willing to help when needed. I went in to exchange 2 candles that showed to have barely been used. One due to it not having a good throw (meaning when lit you can barely smell it) and the other due to once lit the oils activated in the cedar fragrance in the candle caused an allergic reaction my throat began to itch and started to feel like it was closing. Brit the manger advised she could only return the candle that did not have good throw as it was defective and could be damaged out. She would not be able to return the other candle that caused an allergic reaction per exact words me having an allergic reaction has nothing to do with the product Hobby Lobby sold. I asked why the candle that caused the allergic reaction could not be damaged out as well she advised it is at her discretion. I advised her that I found it troubling to believe that with Hobby Lobby being a faith based Christian company they would knowingly be ok with a product they sold causing a customer an adverse reaction and did nothing about it. She stood firm on her unwillingness to assist (her pride and ego) I asked for the number to corporate and spoke with a customer service representatives who was also shocked with the lack of assistance from Bret. I was told I would need to file an incident report because of the allergic reaction from the candle and to hold while she called the store to speak with Bret. I went back in the store to receive a refund and fill out the incident report after the customer service representatives spoke with Bret. Bret advised the CSR she would issue the refund. I asked Bret if she would process the refund while I filled out the incident report she told me she did not have to issue me a refund. I gathered the candle and the report and contacted Customer service back Needless to say this has now resulted in the issue being escalated.EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the lack of compassion, empathy, and understanding on behalf of Bret. When all Bret had to do was exercise Proverbs 3:27 and live by the meaning of the cross necklace she was wearing. I included photos to show the use or lack there of the candle. I was not bringing back a candle that had been burned down and used I immediately blew it out on the onset of the...

Rude and horrible customer service! Bari, the assistant, comanager walks around militantly, glaring at everyone and treated me like I doing something wrong by returning merchandise. It was obvious that I upset her and the cashier (Ignacio G) working the return line by returning merchandise. Both of them acted as if they were inconvenienced by having to do their jobs! Not to mention questioning items I brought back that was missing a tag (only 3 candles and some greenery) that was easily located in their store. I would understand their reaction if the products were used or damaged, but they were in brand new condition and had only been at my house for six days. I guess hobby lobby doesn’t need return business. Great job taking care of customers that spend their hard earned money in your store. Without return, customers seems like it would be a bit of a challenge to pay your employees and utilities and keep the business going. It’s employees just like these two that cause people not to return to your store. Maybe you need to be reminded there are other stores we can shop at. Thank you Bari and Ignacia you too have a...

I enjoy Hobby Lobby. So many cute and interesting items there. However I was having such an enjoyable morning today until I encountered your racist (I'm assuming she was Mexican) cashier. There was only one lane open with a long line of customer as I was approaching to get in line the cashier yelled line open in lane six. Nobody budged at first so I went to go checkout in her lane. She briefly looked at me then looked away and pointed to a white lady in the distance and said " I'm gonna get her first". The other customer had a return so then the Mexican cashier waved me on saying oh you can come on now I don't do returns. Mind you I'm the only one still in her lane, none of the other customers stepped out of the first line. I started to just stand in the long line but I went ahead and let her check me out since no one else was in her lane. I asked why she let the other lady go first. She had no explanation. She didn't even look at me. Handed my bag to me with 2 fingers like you would when don't want to touch something or somebody. Very hurtful and disappointing experience. Just had to that out....

Went to exchange this drawer pull, because the stem was not as long as the other five that I purchased. When I first walked in, I approached what appeared to be some kind of management and let them know. I had an exchange. Where did I go? After standing in line, I let the lady know that I needed to exchange this for the same exact item that this one was not as long as the others I had purchased. No I didn’t have a receipt, but I bought it there and you could check on my credit card as they have done before, she said go ahead and check and see if we have some, so I did, when I came back to the she wanted to give me hassle about it whether I had bought it there or not since I didn’t have a receipt. It was obvious that it was a very unique drawer pull, but again she could check on my credit card which then after I mentioned again, she decided to do and take up my time and the customers standing in line, even though it was a apparent, I bought it there and all I was trying to do is exchange it out for another one. Really? All this hassle for a $3.99 draw pull exchange! Hope they don’t have any real drama!!!

Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite stores to buy decorations. They have the most beautiful holiday decorations. Each week brings on different sales. If you have a wedding or anniversary event, you will want to shop the His and Hers section when it's 50% off. If you want some deep discounts on Christmas decor, after Christmas you should run to Hobby lobby to get your decorations for the following year at 75% or more off. They have a huge selection of craft items, photo frames, home decor and so much more beautiful and unique items.
