Atlantic Beach Resort, a Ramada by Wyndham — Hotel in Atlantic Beach

So my previous review was taken down due to it being negative. This place deserves 1 star. They don't care about safety. I fell due to poor upkeep of their parking lot. I sprained both my ankles and knee and day 2 of being there. They never addressed the cracks in the parking lot that are uneven. They never put anything up to warn people. On our last day my sister injured her leg. The front desk lady on 9/11 working at 0900 had an attitude and would not give my sister an ice pack. She had a hematoma on her right shin. I filled out an incident report. Come to find out they never had my sister fill out an incident report on my injuries. Someone else is liable to get hurt and they seem to dismiss it and do nothing about it. I highly do not recommend this place due to safety concerns and poor customer service.

My review would be higher if not for one thing. On my way out of the building heading to my car, I sprained my right ankle on the broken concrete. When I sprained my ankle, I fell causing me to sprain my left knee and left ankle as well. Things happen and I understand that. HOWEVER, we told the office what had happened and they said maintenance would fix it. I could care less about me getting hurt. I didn't want anyone else to get hurt and potentially get hurt worse than me. It has been an entire day and a half since the incident and they still haven't put ANYTHING up to warn people to watch their step or any kind of safety precaution. Obviously, safety does not matter to them. All they would have had to do was at least put a cone at the area and a sign saying to watch your step. They have done nothing! The fact that they disregard the safety of those staying at the property, despite being told multiple times that no one has done anything to prevent others from falling, is why they are receiving my low review. Someone else is going to get hurt and they may not be as kind as me. Technically they could be held liable for any injuries due to them keeping their parking lot in poor repair and failing to keep others safe after being...

I have stayed four times at that this resort and this was the worst. As we walked into the room we noticed white spots all over the couch and candy stuck to the floors. The counter was sticky and floors was sticky like drinks had been spilled. Door knobs had sticky spots all over them. On top of that the microwave still had a plate of food left in it. Also the windows and sliding glass doors had finger prints all over them. The phone was not working in the room so I went to front desk and showed them pictures. They called house keeping and the lady came to the room with a bad attitude. We had to leave while she cleaned and when we returned she had ONLY taken the food out of the microwave. I then took pictures again. No one from the front desk had even called to see if everything was ok. Also I never got a text like I have all the other times to see how my room was or my stay. Maybe this was a one time bad experience with this stay. It was my son’s Birthday get away and it made me really sad that we had to experience a room like that, that was nasty. I guess COVID didn’t matter in this room that I took...

We stayed here for Labor Day weekend and what a disappointment! It wasn’t clean at all…I had to wipe down the kitchen counters and all the appliances because they had food stuck to them. There is a ring of black mold in the shower which is just gross. The drawer to the side table in the twin bed room fell out and then wouldn’t go back in…we reported it and no one came to fix it. The couch and chairs had gross stains on them. It was just overall disgusting and dirty. The outside grounds are not kept up and are littered with trash. We used the hot tub…or should I say, bathtub…only a few of the jets worked and the hot tub needs to be cleaned and painted. We didn’t use it again.

There were all sorts of bugs in our room as well. I really loved the giant spider that popped out of the makeup rag as I went to wash my face! Ahhhh! I went out and bought my own rag to use!
