Bojangles — Restaurant in Atlantic Beach

I had a bad experience with a women that worked there. She sounded like she was from Jamaica. I order 2 Chicken Supreme dinners and I asked for 1 of each BBQ sauce and Honey Mustard sauce for both meals and she said ok. She read me back my order and then I paid. Well when she gave me my food ( I ordered inside the restaurant) there was 1 BBQ sauce and 1 Honey Mustard sauce, so I asked for my other sauces. She picked up the receipt and looked at it and told me that I had only asked for 1 of each sauce and I told her no I didn't, I had asked for 1 of each sauce for both meals ( this is the same women that took my order ). She began arguing with me, in front of a couple other customers, about some damn sauce and then told me that if I wanted the other sauce then I would have to $.25 for each of them. So by that time I was so pissed off because of how this situation got out of control, I just walked away. And the hole time this was going on, about 3 mins, the manager was in the kitchen on the other side of the wall just standing there and the other employees thought it was funny. I would of just left it alone but it's the simple fact that she read me back my order and then when I got my food and I asked about my other 2 sauces, she basically called me a liar and then argued with me about it. So stupid! And the men's restroom looks like it was last cleaned a month ago! I will not ever go back to...

During a recent visit to the beach, my husband buzzed by the Bo for a 12 piece box and some dirty rice. Simple enough. When he returned home with dinner, he discovered that, oops, those famous biscuits were not anywhere to be found. Hey, stuff happens. we get that. So, he called them looking for satisfaction - "hi, got my 12 piece box but no biscuits"

The manager says come on back and we'll replace the box. He says I'm not coming right now -- we're eating the chicken. She says No problem ... just come by tomorrow or the next day and talk to any manager ... sorry for the inconvenience.

So far so good, but when he dropped in the next day and talked to the manager on duty, explained the situation, he seemed to have no clue what to do. (Hint: put 6 biscuits and a half gallon of free tea in the bag and say "hurry back!") After hearing "I can't do this or that", my husband walked out.

In my experience at this location (Atlantic Beach) the chicken is often not fresh. this visit (8-2013)...

4:15 drive though- no one in line nor anyone in dining room. In a hurry to go fishing- Ordered for three. Commented we'd get fast service. Wrong! We waited after paying over 20 minutes! Then our food came out and we were told to pull up- our twist would be 5 minutes! We decided at least it would be fresh- Wrong. While waiting we discovered no sauce ketchup, napkins etc. I went in to get items- they were even laughing that it took so long! The guy yelled out one more minute after I'd been there as least 5...I noticed there was not one item under the lights. The lady told me folks get upset that they make it as it's ordered. I thought again it will be fresh. When we finally got to eating it, the wings weren't even warm, fries were too hard to eat and fillet was tough! All of it went straight in the trash and we heated up a bowl of soup! Needless to say, we didn't go fishing...nor will we take a chance of This...
