Visited Austin with my spouse as a split business trip and vacation. This place is ideally located in the Red River Cultural District and a short walk to numerous music venues, restaurants, and bars. The condo was modern, clean, and had everything we needed - perfect for our 10-day stay. Our unit was overlooking one of the pools. A minor issue is there is a pet relief area next to the pools and there were several residents who did not clean up after their pets.||There is an outdoor rooftop lounge area that was perfect for watching the sun set. Also on the rooftop are a conference room and an indoor lounge area with a pool table. There also is a coffee shop in the 1st floor lobby. ||Be sure to register your license plate BEFORE you check-in. We had a rental car and our flight was late so we didn't get in until midnight. I forgot to register before we checked in, so there wasn't a parking pass included with the keys, and we were unable to find nearby street parking. Customer service was fantastic in fixing the issue first thing in the morning - and they repeatedly followed up to make sure we had everything we needed during our 10-day stay. Read moreFirst - the Waller is an amazing building with a great location and amazing amenities which you will have access to. There's a two-story gym, two pools, rooftop deck, and a Jo's coffee shop. The staff are very nice and helpful.
Shortstay -
Check in and booking - they are still working out the kinks it appears. You get the keys from the front desk. Initially they didn't work for the elevators. Secondly, the pictures online representing the units do not always represent what you will get. We booked a 30+ day stay and our place didn't have a dining table. The pictures online showed one but our unit did not come with one. Thankfully they moved us to another unit but that took some time.
The unit - The unit we got moved to had dead crickets behind the sofa. A LOT of them....we're talking like 50-100. We swept them up ourselves but man that was disappointing. The rest of the unit was fine and had no issues.
Shortstay help - it's all online, there's no phone number. They take their time to respond and I had to stay on top of them the whole time.
