Let me start by saying, that the ENTIRE STAFF was very professional, and patient and provided great customer service.
So here's where my issues are: I sat in line for about 20 minutes before I ever reached the speaker and I was next up. I got to the speaker and the young lady said, "Cash Only is that okay?". I stated that I only had my debit card and suggested putting up a small sign as there were a few cars behind me. She then let me know they were just rebooting the system. I asked her how long and she said about 10 to 15 minutes. I told her that was fine and I didn't mind waiting if it was okay with them. She said sure but needed a few minutes before she could take my order. She was finally able to take my order and I pulled up. While sitting at the window, a young man came up and said, "You the with no cash?" I said, "Yes." He said, "we're trying to figure something out." I told him no problem. I watched them make my food and box it up. (Crave Clutch). Then I waited approximately another 20 minutes. Finally, the system was back up. They took my payment, asked me what sauces I'd like, and handed me my Crave Clutch. Now mind you at this point it sat for 10 minutes on the counter before they put it under the warmer. Before she put it under the warmer, she said if it's more than a few minutes, we'll remake it. At this point the line behind me is long and they didn't remake my food. Again, no biggie as long as it's warm. Well, I got home just to discover it was half pepper jack and half SMOKED CHEDDAR 🤢 We wanted American. So, an hour later a run to grab some White Castle, the worst part was it being wrong. Not the wait, not the service, or even the computer issues (which is annoying. But not the employees fault) but it was the FOOD I so patiently waited for. Luke warm and half wrong. So my husband ate 2 and was asked what's wrong with these? I eat only the pepper jack and ate an "american" one just to discover it was ended not American but Smoked cheddar. 🤢 Some may enjoy that taste, however we didn't and it's not what we ordered. So I would love to leave a 5 star as I was so impressed with the staff. But paying $25 for food that no one ended up eating (still in the fridge) is just not what I wanted to do. We hardly eat out especially fast food. So it was disappointing to not get the food I ordered and paid for. If there's a next time, hopefully, it will be a faster transaction and the correct order. But kudos to the staff for working under pressure and still providing good...
Read moreI believe when someone is bringing their food back to you and clearly showing you proof that there is glove tips in their burgers that you should be a little more concerned about that situation and then when they come into your facility to get the said refund for the situation you look up and you've got a person with some Poly disposable gloves on and then you look over to the other girl who only has one glove on and she's making some kind of prepped items and then we're talking about the tips of the gloves and the food and then goes and gets one and finally puts it on while she working with the food without even washing hands. The shift manager goes into the bathroom to get the general manager out of the bathroom who doesn't even come and even remotely apologize for the situation they just say sorry here's your refund. You are literally walking past people who do not have gloves on nor apologizing for a situation. I understand stuff like that happens especially being in the food industry and working with poly disposable gloves I know that sometimes it's difficult but could you at least just have gloves on or at least show a little bit of empathy when it comes to someone discreetly explaining to you what happened and then you're asking them what time they came and this and that and did you is that all the food that's in the bag I wish I hadn't been consumed any of the food and I wouldn't feel so ill about returning what I did...
Read moreAh, White Castle. The land of tiny burgers and excellent french fries. Where the restaurant may be fairly clean, but the wait time to order is as big as the burgers are small.
I recently visited one of their fine establishments and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the place. However, the emptiness of the restaurant was a bit of a head-scratcher. With practically no one there, you'd think they would have been able to take our order a bit faster. But alas, no. We had to wait, as if we were in a busy metropolis during lunch hour.
And then, the main event: the burgers. Ah, yes. The burgers that are smaller than a playing card but pack a punch in flavor... or so I thought. In all honesty, the burger was just okay. Nothing special, but nothing terrible either. It was just there, like a supporting character in a movie.
But the real MVP of the meal were the french fries. They were excellent. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and just the right amount of salt. I was in fry heaven, and it made up for the average burger experience.
In conclusion, if you're in the mood for a tiny burger and some fantastic fries, White Castle is the place to be. Just don't expect the burger to...
