This is the first time my wife and I have ever been to a Waffle House so we didn't know what to expect. First of all the service was fantastic and the waitress was very kind and patient as we asked a bunch of questions. The menu was a lot more simple than I thought it would be. And, despite it being called Waffle House, there's only one kind of waffle on the menu. It was a pretty decent waffle though. I also enjoyed the grits. The bacon had a good taste but I could tell it was cooked on a grill that needed to be cleaned. Overall it was a decent place to go for breakfast. I won't be going all the time but I'll go again.

When I travel out of town going south. I always make it a point to stop at a Waffle House. Every time I’ve traveled by car going to a southern state since I was a little kid. I’ve always visited one of these locations. It doesn’t matter which location it is, they all were pretty good. The food and service is always excellent. The only downside is that these locations attract a lot of sketchy customers. One guy trying to hit on the waitress and the friend cussing a storm or the guy that just looks off like he is up to something. Overall it’s an A in my book.

We sat at the counter. Our server Katrina was great. However, the lady "mama" that was cooking and was wearing a million club shirt was absolutely rude to the other server working. She was not displaying Million Dollar Club behavior to me.We came here to eat. Not to watch an emplyee belittle another employee. If there are any staffing issues here, you might want to check the reasoning. I am in the industry, and her behavior was and is unacceptable. I will not return when she is working.

Update: I came back again a few weeks later. I thought I would give this place a second chance because maybe it was just a bad morning the first time.

Unfortunately, once again on a Sunday at 5:30am I was told the location was closed. The door wasn't locked, employees were there, the lights were on but they were supposedly closed.

I have to say I'm confused because your website says you are 24 hours. Google says you are 24 hours, however it seems pretty clear to me you are not 24 hours.

I get it. I'm coming at a very slow time but you advertise as 24 hours. If you are not 24 hours that's fine but you should update your website, Google listing and the hours you have posted.

I was hoping to change my rating but as things are, that's not happening.

Original: Showed up at 5:30am. There were two other customers in their cars in the parking lot. The employees were sitting in the parking lot and when they saw us all but one of the employees went inside. The last one, still sitting outside kept yelling, "We're closed! We're closed!" Not in a nice way either. Eventually, when she could hear me between her shouting and realized I was trying to ask, "Until 6(am)?" She said, "I don't know. 6 or 7, whenever a manager shows up."

Not a good experience and seems like a toxic work environment causing employees to be toxic to customers.

I recommend...

I have been sitting in one of the booths for about 15 min. now I haven't had anyone come up and ask me what am I drinking or take my food order. I am the 5th customer in the store 3 out of the 4 other customers already had there food and where eating. There are two lady's takeing food orders and one cook. Half way throw me sitting down the 4th customer got his food order. Even while I sit to take the time to write this no one has come up to me and now I am the only person in the store. Still no service I thought the jokes that I had with the younger girl the other day was just that a joke. I fear she took them seriously my apologies if she did but would had been nice for her to say that she'd like me to not joke with her. It has been 20 min. Now and the other lady has now walked up to me asking if anyone has helped me and only thing she said is she thought the younger lady was taking care of me. Idk what your works problems are but if they don't like the little jokes back and for tlwith customer just say so the silent treatment is very 2nd...

This has been my favorite waffle house for a long time, even tried to . make it a tradition to visit on xmas day and leave a very generous tip given the date and just trying to share some holiday spirit for the people that are willing to work on that day. but they now have take out only after hours so now you have to pay the extra 20% added to your order even if your option was to eat in, i understand the point of not opening the dine in option after hours since some people aren't able to behave with common decency. But i don't think the 20% upcharge is excused this way. Also when i asked the "server" ( not sure why the need of multiple servers in this case) about the 20% upcharge, she mentioned that that's not a tip, its just a service fee, so who's taking this 20% upcharge? , then what the heck am i paying for with the charge of the food? Probably better to close the after hours completely or try to solve this issue a different way. This is the last time I'll be...
