So clearly this place gives good product coupled with excellent service..but itâs more than that. They make it personal. If youâre just buying a $100 necklace maybe thatâs not what your looking for. But if your dropping 10k plus on a killer Rolex I wouldnât recommend anywhere else.
They made it personal for me. This was my first Rolex purchase at an authentic Rolex dealer. I was a little intimidated at first to be honest. Just because I wasnât very well versed in the process. Plus I didnât know if when I walked in Iâd get pressure to purchase something out of my price range, etc.. Nothing even close to that transpired. They were welcoming, informative, and eager to help. Also the first time I frequented this place was smack dab in the middle of quarantine . They had masks, hand sanitizer, etc..waiting in the front lobby for guests to use prior to walking in. They also scheduled appointments for customers so everything was spread out and safe. Thatâs a huge indicator as to how business is handled there. They take it seriously and it shows.
I had a Rolex that I was going to sell before I purchased my new one. Without naming anyone(store located in Cherry Creek) Walters & Hogsett beat their offer considerably. Because they didnât try to lowball me right from the start, I believed they had my best interests at heart. I wasnât mistaken. I wanted a watch that was very hard to come by. They not only delivered the watch in a quick manner but they got it to me on my birthday as a surprise! It was fantastic , more than I couldâve asked for. It was personal. I worked most with Don and Lanie but every single person I had contact with there was pleasant, informative, and professional.
Don is really wonderful to deal with. Heâs really into watches which is exactly what you want from a Rolex store. He not only knows the models in the store that are current but he owns a plethora of watches as well. That makes for a very informed expert. Never once did I feel pressure to purchase anything. Never once did I have a question for him he couldnât answer. Truly just a nice guy. Lanie is fantastic as well. She made the actual purchase of my new watch seamless. You could tell she had delivered many watches prior and it showed. Truly a delight to deal with. She wished me a happy birthday multiple times and it was special. At the end I was so elated with my watch I didnât think I could be happier. She came out with a new Rolex hat for me to have. Now I know this is going to sound ridiculous but I swear to you I almost like my hat as much as the watch. Almost! Anyway itâs about the little things and details in life for me and Walters & Hogsett didnât disappoint.
You can get a Rolex at many places. But I highly doubt there are many places quite like this. If you want your purchase to be special and personal..Walters & Hogsett is your place. I couldnât be happier with my purchase and experience with this...
Read moreIf you want to team up and work with ânormalâ (actually quite phenomenal) people, then Walters & Hogsett is your jewelry store! I finally made it down from the far-off land of Fort Collins and met Hilary who greeted me upon my entry. I like watches and have encountered all types of salespeople over the years and around the world. Rarely does the interaction/conversation feel ânormalâ⊠rather it usually feels like some sort of conversational chess-match. Not here though: despite this being our first meeting, Hilary and I met and chatted for 30-40minutes and it felt like I was catching up with an old friend. When I got home I told my Wife, âwow it was like she was a normal person and we had a normal conversation.â When I shared that I like to collect Rolex watches with Hilary, she didnât look at me as if I was insane to think that a Rolex dealer would actually be interested or able to sell a Rolex (if youâve been to many Rolex stores then you know what I mean). Iâve since visited the boutique three times over several months and communicated frequently with Hilary via text about various available items, and recently I purchased one of the watches on my âwish listâ. During my last visit, Hilary introduced me to one of the owners, Lanie, who⊠wait for it⊠was yet another ânormal humanâ. This place is full of unicorns⊠itâs crazy. They are friendly, welcoming, completely without arrogance, and ready to work with you to find what you are looking for. How refreshing is that? I canât recommend any jewelry boutique higher. This place has beautiful products, but even better people! Hilary - Thank you...
Read moreUpdated: June 25, 2025 Been on the waiting list now for 4/5 years and havenât been offered a single Rolex in any configuration. So, I made it a point to find a Rolex AD that would actually work with me as a retired army veteran vs. just leading me on.
ORIGINAL REVIEW : (Pre - Covid 19) My adopted father wears a vintage 1962 Rolex that was his great grandfathers and my grandfather. Since I donât plan on having kids, (unless I meet someone very special); I told my father to pass this watch down to my sisters son. That way this Rolex Day adjust timepiece will have been in our Family for 5 generations and is currently 60 years old.
That is why it is very important to me to buy my own Rolex. I realized after I got out of the Army and got sober, how precious our time truly is on this earth and how we should not waste it. It is one of the reasons I decided to take the leap and buy an Airstream and start traveling full time with my service dog.
I am proud to say so far Mrs Laura Hunter has made the process very smooth. While I do not have a Rolex of my own yet, I have interest in 3 timepieces. The first being a Skydweller, second a GMT II and lastly an Explorer II.
So far I have been waiting for about 2 months, for any of my desired timepieceâs to show up in the configuration I desire. My biggest compliment is the customer service Mrs Laura Hunter provides me, anytime I have a question about a timepiece or want to get an update she is very accessible, open and honest which I appreciate. All I have to do now is be patient and wait for the call to tell me one of them...
