I pre-paid for food to pick up several days in advance. I attempted to call the restaurant before coming, to let them know I was on my way, but no one answered. I didn't think much of it as sometimes, during the dinner rush, restaurant won't answer. When I arrived for my 4:30pm pick-up, I found out that they had been closed since 2pm for "maintenance". There was NO updated message on their phone letting people know. No one attempted to reach out to me, and I ended up needing to make other arrangements for dinner for my family. I'm still waiting for my refund.
Edit/reply: Thank you for your reply. If that is true. Then that means the Doordash misinformed me. They claimed that they had submitted the order already, which is why they didn't know to reach out to me, and that you where closed. At this point I'm stuck in a he/said she said, and until I have more info, I will move my rating to 3. There is no option to leave comments...
Read moreI have been (impatiently) awaiting the reopening of Nopalito’s since they closed for the big relocation to 29th Street and am so excited they’re open again! My partner and I ordered delivery for the grand reopening and ran into a hiccup when the third-party delivery service didn’t show up, but the incredible team and owner of Nopalito’s went above and beyond and personally delivered our order even though it was not their fault the third-party service didn’t make it happen.
Boulder is a small place and it’s rare to find good, consistent food - much less good, consistent service - and I am so glad Nopalito’s is finally reopened, in an even better location, with the same fantastic food and unparalleled service. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone (and definitely try the flautas - they are my favorite thing on the menu and the best flautas I’ve found...
Read moreI am very glad I found Nopalito's. Primarily, they serve burritos, though there are a number of other items on the menu. We all know that there are plenty of places to get a burrito, but there are a few differences at Nopalito's. First, all of the ingredients are fresh and well made. Nothing just sitting around under plastic. Second, you can put together some unique combinations to get exactly what you want (including a fried chicken burrito that will knock your socks off). And best of all, when it is all stacked up a ready to roll, they will mix it all together! No more bites of all guac, sour cream, or just rice. I did not ask, this is just their SOP. And it matters, at least to me.
Bottom line, there are a lot of places for burritos, but Nopalito's is a big step up in quality and taste without a big step up in price. Find this place and...
