This hotel is beautiful, The male manager is awesome, but the other managers are awful. This hotel does not tell you that they only have one washer and dryer that they also allow the hotel next-door to use. A man removed my clothes from the washer and set them on top of the dryer so he could start another load even though I had another load in the basket on top of the dryer and then he Removed my first load from the dryer before they were dry and set them on a dirty counter… He was from the other hotel… I waited for his clothes to be completely dry and 15 minutes before I put my first load back in the dryer, and this man verbally attacked me and it costed me to the point where several families were in the hallway supporting me the police were called in the next day they asked me to leave the hotel. I would never again stay in a Marriott or a Marriott owned hotel because of how I was treated. I don’t understand how I was kicked out of the hotel for verbally being assaulted and calling the police because he was in a tiny enclosed space and refusing to let me leave the laundry room yelling at me for the exact same thing he did to me twice. And by the way, he was from the other hotel, not ours. The other hotel doesn’t have a laundry, but they let them come over and do their laundry and the One washer and dryer for the entire hotel. This hotel is a long-term stay hotel for people who work and travel. I spent thousands of dollars here. I treated the staff with kindness and positivity, and I was intern disrespected and treated poorly and I think it is because I am handicapped. I don’t think they wanted a handicap person staying there. I think it was embarrassing to them. I cannot ambulate without a four-wheel walker. There’s no chairs in the laundry room, and I cannot stand up longer than five minutes due to my disability recently, I was asked to share my video footage of this man attacking me for a news story and I think that I’m going to do it not to email The Man, but to show the absolute unfairness and discrimination to people with Disabilities. This gentleman was completely out of line when he threatened and attacked me. That is why I popped out my phone and that is what I shared with the police who warned him to stay away but the next day the staff decided to kick me out.
I had 7 witnesses and was still thrown out and not reimbursed for my remaining days- it’s a scam against handicapped people. Ironically, while reading reviews I found an older handicapped gentleman that was treated same way.
The investigative reported connected us and to others who have experienced similar things and were not reimbursed for days and weeks they had...
Read moreWe stayed here for 4 nights. Of the 4 nights we stayed only one night was a restful night of sleep. This is due to a malfunctioning AC unit in our room which would make mechanical-failure noises throughout the night persistently waking us up.
We alerted the front desk of this issue the second morning after our second night of poor sleep. The staff said they had maintenance "Reset" the system and that it shouldn't happen anymore. You can probably guess where this is going but the system continued to fail and wake us up another night. We were then moved to another room which did not have a malfunctioning AC unit but a misconfigured AC unit which would not respond to the panel in the room.
I contacted the management team about my issues after our stay. I spoke with the Assistant manager who said they would get back to me about compensating me for my poor experience and they never called me back. Initially they wanted to give me points in the amount that would not even cover 1 night in a Suite stay. Given that 75% of the nights in the hotel were unsatisfactory I do not believe this is fair compensation.
It's unfortunate that we had such a bad nights sleep as we normally sleep very well at Marriott properties. I would caution anyone who is looking to book an extended stay as the AC will likely keep you up...
Read moreAfter having my A/C go out, I needed a cool place to stay while I waited on repairs. I was happy to find a nearby Fairfield that was not to far from home, at an affordable nightly rate. The room was clean and up to date and my shower had great pressure. I was pleased with their complimentary breakfast, which had hot options, and was much more convenient than needing to get in the car and drive somewhere. They had all the TV streaming choices that you could log in to, with your own account, which was a great way to pass the days. The only things I would improve on were the beds didn't seem to be as comfortable as I would have liked and after 3 nights, I was feeling a bit stiff in the mornings. They weren't awful, just not great. I also wish they had an area with grass for my service animal to use the restroom. We live in Arizona and zero scape is the norm ( rock), but we are new to the area and while he will go #1 on rocks (with command), I had to drive him to nearby parks do to #2. Luckily there are alot of parks close, but still a hassle to do twice a day. A little grassy ( or turf) area would have been much more convenient. Overall it was a comfortable, cool stay during a stressful event and triple digit weather. I would definitely go back, hopefully under better...
