Café Zupas — Restaurant in Buckeye

I ordered a golden curry bowl late at night. When i arrived it was 8:55 and there will still customers inside. I put notes and added avocado which was $2.00+ and put NO roasted chicken. There was a bunch of chicken cut up super tiny and spread all throughout the bowl. Even on the very bottom. I know they saw the note because they added the avocado which again i did pay for. The chicken was also cut up SUPER tiny at the bottom making it impossible to “just pick out” as im sure a lot of extremely inconsiderate people would suggest. I also left a tip so im actually really irritated. If you have any dietary restrictions i’d just take your business elsewhere because the staff is clearly careless. Also and this is the last thing, they didnt even try to make it presentable everything was thrown in. I work in food service myself and this was just a very disappointing experience. I cant stress enough how small the chicken that was placed at the bottom of the bowl was cut up. It was like a f you for ordering late, as if there werent people still in the lobby. I also did try to place the order over the phone they said they couldnt do that which i understand. But when you call it actually gives you an option to place the order over the phone so that was weird. Anyway i’d like a refund because after attempting to pick out the chicken and seeing it literally spread out everywhere in tiny pieces i gave up and...

This was my first visit to Cafe Zupas with my family. What an amazing experience for myself and my family. The staff was extremely helpful in helping me to decide on what to eat. I felt like Cheyenne was my personal guide through this journey of soup deliciousness. She helped me to decide on getting the Potato and green chilies soup 👍🏽 Perfect! I absolutely loved it. I don't have any pictures this time but I will on my next visit which will be very soon. Probably today. The selection of soups was very good and each one that I sampled was delicious 😋 They also offered salad and sandwiches which I didn't get a chance to taste or view that selection. I'm sure based on my experience it will probably be awesome. Next time I will try at least a salad with my soup. You also get a delicious chocolate dipped strawberry with your meal. What a tasty treat for the end of a great dining experience. And for the record, my family experience was exceptional as well. I could go on writing about my experience at Cafe Zupas on Verrado way. My boyfriend and I have dined in 4 times and each time the food is phenomenal however, the service is chaotic and disorganized. Each time we’ve had to repeat our order to multiple employees at least 3-4 times before all accurate items are received. Ordering online doesn’t seem to improve this as I still managed to receive completely different items than what I placed on my online order. It isn’t really complicated but they could greatly benefit from organization. Have patrons place an order once and then have a system in place to track that order electronically or on paper from first point of contact where the order is placed all the way through to the point of sale. Or, have a single person as quality control that could check physical orders match the order ticket before it arrives at point of sale or pick-up. Or, have a single person at each station (salad, soup, sandwich, dessert) and go through an “buffet style” where they make it for you and hand it directly to you on a tray where you pay at the end once you’ve gotten your full order. There are so many ways to make a better customer experience. Again, I absolutely love the food but the disorganization leaves much...
