Marketside West at Verrado — Local services in Verrado

I typically don’t write reviews, however I felt i need to give a little feed back.

This was the first time I used Marketside and I dropped off Silas ( sheepadoodle 10 months) at 8:30 am. Silas is pretty well behaved and knows just about all his basic commands . I pride myself on his training as I have worked VERY hard along with his trainer to get him in a good place. He is NOT dog or people reactive. I did ask that he not be in a c created for an extended amount of time. I do know that there may be a time for that as they switch dogs out for playing. I work from home so this was just to get him some play time and socialization. He wears the FI collar so I can see his activity and there wasn’t much of a difference in his being home to being there.

I wanted so much more from Marketside. My hopes were high. We ( Silas & I ) didn't have a bad experience but it also wasn’t a great one. I have read the reviews and a lot of what I read was that the staff was rude. I didn’t get that. I did however feel like they were indifferent. Like Silas was just another pup being dropped off. They don’t have cameras to watch over your pets while there like most day boarding places and I really had to ask questions about his day. This information wasn’t given freely on pickup 12:30 pm. (That’s right! He was only there for half day.) Even then there wasn’t much said. This was the reason for a two star review.

I don’t know that we will be back. We may try again if ever in a pinch.

To the staff. Please be reminded that these are not just pets. These are our family members. We entrust you all to make our pets feel welcomed and loved as they would at home. We would also like a full report upon pickup. How their day was, how they interacted with the others. Who they played with. How long they were created. What they ate or didn’t. Bathroom breaks. and so much...

Culvers food is great, good service. We usually eat in when we go there. The resturant has plenty of seating and a very nice decor. The only fault that I have to complain about is the cleanliness of the seating partition walls. I think they have the same smears and grime that they've had for years.
