Panera Bread — Restaurant in Burlington

Terrible. No other word for the poor service and staffing at this location. One would think that you would be aware that your town was hosting a few dozen soccer teams and families this weekend and plan accordingly...not the case here. Out of product, not enough staff...resulting in a 45 minute wait for food...yes...45 minutes for Mac and cheese and sandwiches. I ended up giving my sandwich to my daughter so she could eat since ours only took 35 minutes...best part is that no manager, NOT one person said sorry, tried to appease us in any fashion. Coming from St. Louis I know how this company operates normally, and you have some serious work to do...

Have been to other Panera locations before, so I had an idea of what to expect when eating here. The parking was busy because of the Fun City next door, but no big deal. We ordered at the counter because it was quiet when we went in. I settled for a spicy chicken sandwich (was hoping more for a traditional deli item like ham & Swiss on rye), which turned out to be ok. Their soup bowls and variety of salads are tasty if you're in the mood for them. Overall, the service and quality here was good. Super disappointed in my experience. I waited for about 10 minutes for 2 drinks, a coffee and iced tea. I am in the coffee club and she wouldn't let me give her my rewards while ordering. Then she struggled to get the info in there at the window and wouldn't allow me to use my rewards for the iced tea. I've always had Panera allow this. She refused and I finally talked her into it. She was the manager, but only a supervisor in training, and left in charge is how I was explained. Didn't seem like a tough request, but...
