HART — Local services in Charleston

I had a disappointing experience at this store. Despite there being three employees and only one other customer when I arrived, no one acknowledged me or offered assistance. When I asked for help regarding an issue with the website, the staff came across as dismissive and condescending, ultimately referring me to a support email. Although they assured me I would receive a response within a day, it's been three days and I've heard nothing back. What’s more frustrating is the lack of communication between store locations—there are no phones at either location, no way to check inventory at the other location, and no central system for locating a specific product. If you're looking for something specific, be prepared for a lot of guesswork - you're essentially on your own. I expected a higher level of professionalism and customer care, and unfortunately, that was not my experience. I finally ended up sourcing the product I wanted by reverse image searching it and ordering it from another website. The only reason I went through with the purchase was because it was a gift for someone special—under different circumstances, I would not support a business after this experience.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HART ‼️‼️‼️‼️ In November I purchased a charm bracelet from the Hart store in Charleston. With the chain and only three charms it was $213.00 which I was happy to pay since the sales associate assured us that the bracelet would “never tarnish” and “the jump rings are extremely strong to ensure secure charms”. So, I was beyond disappointed when in less than 4 months 2/3 of the charms have fallen off the bracelet and the chain was beginning to tarnish. I reached out their customer service where they told me the best they could do to fix this situation was offer 15% off the charms for me to replace them “as a token of their apology”. For a bracelet over $200 being completely broken after less than 4 months, offering only 15% off is more of an insult than a solution or let alone an apology. I would not recommend paying their high prices for their clearly terrible quality jewelry. I was so sad especially since the products are so cute, but the way they handled the situation was beyond careless and rude. I will never purchase anything from here again and would recommend to anyone else to do the same and save the money and hassle of trying to deal with their horrible...

I have many pieces from Hart and I love them all! The attention to detail in the packaging is delightful and makes me so excited to receive pieces I purchase and receive remotely. The pieces are always beautiful and I know they will provide me with joy every single time I wear a necklace or bracelet that I have personally designed to tell my story. Any creation I have made…..of course with the team’s special touch and expertise……has been absolutely perfect!

The team provides a wonderful experience when purchasing online, so I know an in-person visit would be the best experience ever!
