Update: The owner was very responsive in following up and testing for any bugs in our room. They said they didn't find anything. While this is a very charming place, it's definitely not a place we will consider in the future, only due to the extreme noisy neighbors we had during our stay. This may not be everyone's experience. The owner is very professional and it's clear that she cares about her customers experiences. Thank you for that!
Original: Very cute, very charming. The room was clean. If you want to get any sleep, this may not be the place for you. My husband and I came here for our anniversary and it ended up being a disruptive night with little sleep. I thought hearing the neighbors have sex was mildly entertaining, but then about 2 am the other neighbors came back and were arguing quite loudly. Rebekah and Holly sounded like bickering sisters. It sounded like we were all in the same room as we could hear the intimate details of their conversation. Earplugs and a sound maker was provided in our room, but didn't help much. When we got up this morning I noticed several bites all over my body. Over all, It was a super cute and charming place, but definitely not an ideal experience for older more mature guests looking for a quiet...

I am a building scientist who has done a walkthrough the facilities on behalf of a local non-profit institute. What I can tell you I saw was alarming in reference to indoor air quality. Without a deep diagnosis, one could easily spot fungal growth, prevalent water issues, and blatant mechanical systems flaws. The owner and management had no interest in remedying any of these issues on the guests behalf. Yes it is inexpensive, but that comes at a price. I would caution anyone with respiratory issues or any who cares about the air they breathe to think twice about staying at this place for your health's sake. I would also caution the workers working at the facility to understand you are causing yourself and the guests harm by being complicit in this operation. You should insist upon working and living at a place that doesn't jeopardize your health.
Update: They think I am a person named Jeff, but I am obviously not. Maybe you should try to listen to the advice about the poor quality of your dwelling and do something about it instead of going on some weird tangent about a...
Read moreIt's a cheap way to stay downtown so with that don't have high expectations. Things they could have done above the level it was: clean the dust out from under our bed as our belongings got covered in dust. The Towels were OLD, no washcloths, just 2 towels and 1 old hand Towel, all were so worn out like the ones you would use to dry off your car or use as rags for cleaning. The bed sheets and blankets were also old and had small holes on all the seams for being warn in alot. Our bedframe was not secure to the bed or wall, every time you move it bangs and squeaks, we had too many laughs about that. But it was very annoying. Also there was little to no shelving in the room. A few cheep floating shelves in the corner of our room would have been delightful. Keep in mind, this is an old house so everything needs some tlc. But if you have no expectations and just want cheep this is a great place. We stayed 4 nights, and our backs hurt from the bed and we were annoyed with bad towels and bedding. The simple things could have made it much better for us and had me giving a...
