Island Provisions - Downtown Charleston — Restaurant in Charleston

My boyfriend and I visited here with some friends on a recommendation from TikTok and I definitely was not disappointed. The aesthetic of the place is super cute with both indoor and outdoor seating options. It was pretty busy when we went but the outdoor seating available gives it a more relaxing and open atmosphere. I ordered an iced latte with almond milk and brown sugar cinnamon syrup and it was really good, I’ve been drinking coffee and espresso for awhile and I don’t think I’ve ever tried the blend they use. It has a sort of unique flavor that I really enjoyed. I also ordered their classic breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel and it was fantastic, the hot honey on it gives it a unique flavor compared to other places I’ve tried. My boyfriend and friends ordered different drinks and food and all enjoyed theirs as well. Great little coffee spot! We were on a brief trip in Charleston and decided to stop here for some coffee before walking around the town. It was mildly busy for a weekday morning, but everyone was polite, prompt, and helpful. My husband and I sat at the bar while we waited for our coffees and food.

I got an iced latte with almond milk and my husband got a hot latte. I was very happy with the coffee. I meant to see what brand it was before I left, but forgot. We also split a classis breakfast sandwich, which was very tasty (devoured too quickly to remember to take a picture). Say proscitto and mustard aioli and I'm sold.

They also served a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as lunch sandwiches, teas, smoothies, salads, and pastries.

Good: The atmosphere of the restaurant is very inviting. The lighting is good and the decor is great.

Bad: The service is not very great. The women who delivered our food left trash on the table we were sitting at. The food was overpriced, I paid $14 for one wrap with hardly any chicken on it. I understand this is charleston, but you're paying for the experience as well. The only time I interacted with a waiter or waitress was when they brought my food. I sat outside on a very beautiful day with the exhaust for the HVAC system pointed directly towards my table. The water that you can pour yourself to drink came out warm. Not room temperature, it was warm. I asked for potato salad and received a side more similar to mashed potatoes. For Charleston prices, this place is not delivering.
