DO NOT ! I REPEAT!!! DO NOT !!!!STAY HERE !!!!!!! THIS PLACE IS INFESTED WITH BED BUGS !!! We decided to stay here last minute after we had some reservation issues with Airbnb, let me start by saying , the pictures and website are extremely deceiving ! Upon entering the hotel ,we noticed it was extremely outdated and looked nothing like the pictures . We decided not to make a big deal about it since it was late , we were exhausted and we had small children with us . When entering the room it did have an odd , humid smell to but once again ,we decided to just deal with it since it was so late and we were tired .We took showers and decided to get some rest so we could enjoy the next day . We woke up early the next morning and were outraged by the fact that we had been ATTACKED throughout the night ! I will attach pictures for reference, I felt so violated . The bites were on my legs, arms , face, on my husband’s back and arms , my kids had bites on their arms . I was not sure where the bites came from so I decided to examine the beds and room and that’s when I discovered an INFESTATION OF BED BUGS!! I have never dealt with this so I did look them and make sure but as soon as I saw them in the bed I just knew that’s what they were . I checked the mattress I was on and it had tons of eggs and after untucking the comforter I found several bugs in the comforter , I was almost in tears that an establishment could allow this to happen . I found not only one or two but a few moving around in the comforter. I was in complete disbelief. For the amount of bugs present and the fact that they were out in the open ,makes me believe that the infestation has been going on for a long while and I don’t see how the cleaning staff would have not been able to see it . After leaving some stuff we were concerned could carry the bugs and grabbing a bed bug and smashing it in a napkin for proof to downstairs Attendent we proceeded to leave. My husband went to the desk and told me to go to the car with the children. I waited a while and when he got to the care he was outraged , he stated the front desk attendant said the manager was not available, when he told her about the bed bugs and showed her the one in the napkin she did not even look surprised and just said that she helps the cleaning staff clean all the time and has never seen them and almost acted as if it was no big deal and she did not care one bit . If I was an employee there and I did NOT KNOW ABOUT IT AND SOMEONE TOLD ME THERE WERE BEDBUGS I WOULD NOT TAKE IT LIGHTLY!!my husband continued to tell her how bad it was and how angry he was that his family was attacked and how it is insane and that all the guests there should be made aware to which she only said “can I have your number and email and I will have someone contact you “ I am leaving this review here and I will be contacting the state . This is DISGUSTING AND ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!! We told the guest that we did see to please check their luggage and belongings and that the rooms were infested , I really believe the staff must know and it is repulsive that this place is still open and operating! We stayed on 6/15/24 night and checked out on 6/16/24. It is 6/18/24 and we yet to hear back from anyone ! Thai place should be locked down and put out...
Read moreThis was my 2nd time coming to this hotel.. The 1st stay was pretty good so I came back with my husband the 2nd time.. We just purchased a home nearby and are renovating so we are coming up from Ft. Lauderdale regularly lately.. We will NOT be staying here again.. First, when we arrived, they put us in room 203, we went upstairs, we are tired, been driving 9 hours, we get to the room and the key won't work, so we get the cleaning person in the next room to open the door.. We walk in and my God, there was an over powering smell of damp, mildew-mold.. There was a huge humidifier in there to help with it, so they obviously knew something was wrong in there.. I called the cleaning person back in to smell and he didn't even walk in all the way, they already knew about it.. So we go back downstairs to let them know we can't stay in there.. They gave us a key to room 103, directly underneath it, and told us we had to wait 20 mins till they clean it..? It was close to 5pm.. So we wait, and I said to my husband that I hope the smell did not carry down to that room.. They got done cleaning and came and told us we could go in.. When we walked in it smelled like cleaning supplies. Ok, fine, they just cleaned it right.. So we try to settle down.. Within a half hour the cleaning smell started to dissipate, and there was a subtle smell of the mildew starting to come through.. But not only that, it was sticky.. I was sticking to the sheets, felt like we needed another shower, the sheets felt damp too.. So once again I go to the front desk to let them know.. I'm telling you, that's why they went in there with cleaning products, to try and mask the mildew smell.. They knew. But wait, the story doesn't end there! We finally got into another room, (NOT 303 😂) and it was finally a decent one.. We went to bed and woke up to go down for coffee around 530 in the morning, breakfast itself starts at 6am but coffee is there 24 hours around the clock.. There was a girl on the midnight shift prepping the trays for breakfast.. We go to the coffee machine, and no coffee.. It was water, so I kindly turn to her, she was erking and jerking in the seat by the way, and let her know the coffee was out.. People were going to be coming down to eat soon and didn't think she knew.. Well, this girl who was on some major drugs started shouting at me from her seat, jerking her neck and arms, sweating.. Screaming that everyone has to wait until 7pm when the next girl comes because she can't do it, something about having spoons to do! So we go back upstairs, grab our wallet to drive to Dunkin, we come back downstairs and that same girl is flailing her arms, screaming at another girl, "YOUR NOT LISTENING TO ME" and the one she was screaming at was trying to tell her she was DEAF!! It was VERY obvious she was deaf! She was talking that way and had hearing aides in.. It definitely was crystal meth! The whole stay was ridiculous! They didn't even offer any kind of compensation.. The poor def girl was traumatized too, I will never...
