Drury Inn & Suites Frankenmuth — Hotel in City of Frankenmuth

When I was looking for a place to stay in Frankenmuth, I didn't want a huge place. I decided on this place and so glad I did. I will start the ease of making a reservation it was really easy on their website, highly recommend. Next the check in, greeted with smiles and appreciation, also very helpful in recommendations, they are very friendly. Now for the perks of staying here: I know many hotels offer free breakfast, and boy this place really does, hot breakfast, you can have a cold breakfast, also they have ice tea, hot tea and pop all free all the time. They have a fitness center. They have a pool and jacuzzi open till 10:00 pm, great for family and couples. They are pet friendly and have a dog walk in the back. Now for the absolute best as to why you want to stay here you ask? They have free dinner , yes DINNER, from 5:30-7, and for the adults you get two free mix drinks, wine or beer to go with your dinner, you can take the drinks with you, we did and walked down Main Street. We went on a Thursday so many of the stores closed at 6 or 6:30, but the walk to just enjoy the atmosphere is wonderful, you are at the start of Main street so you can plan to walk one side enjoy the shopping, then go the come back enjoy dinner, a swim, or gather in the dinning area and they have a t.v., be sure to rest up to walk the other side of Main Street for the next day. There dinner menu is also kid friendly. I highly recommend this place, great location...

I’d give the Drury Hotel 4.5 stars if I could.

Pros: Free hot and cold breakfast items Free hot coffee 24/7 Free pop machine 3pm- 9pm (I think?) Large room with a living room and bedroom (2 TVs), couch and individual chair with an ottoman for your feet Free kickback (dinner) 5:30-7:00pm with 3 free alcoholic beverages per adult Fridge and microwave in room Food prep and options were very clean and sanitary considering covid protocol (all food is served cafeteria style). You can eat in the dining room or take it back to your room. Clean You can reserve time at the pool and fitness center. anniversary gift and wishes

Cons Housekeeping didn’t come once (yes, we requested it on the reservation and we spoke with the front desk twice). I didn’t like this because the trash was never emptied and we didn’t get fresh towels ... eventually I just went down and took out the trash and asked for more clean towels. Overnight front desk staff was not helpful. No kitchen or room service. If you’re checking in late your not going to even be able to get a couple of sandwiches sent up to the room. All the restaurants/bars and even grocery stores close at 10pm. Sink and shower a little bit clogged. It worked but the sink would fill up as you washed your hands or brushed your teeth. Low quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The body wash didn’t lather and was on a pump on the wall. Nothing...

We stayed one night at this Drury Inn. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The room layout was perfect! The living room and bedroom were separated by a kitchenette and the bathroom. The beds and pillows were just right for a good nights rest. The shower water was hot and had great pressure with a nice shower head. But there was no exhaust, leaving a foggy mess:( |Appreciated that the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner bottles on the shower wall were actually filled!- Thank you. The vanity counter height was perfect. |We LOVED the 5:30 kickback food choices! We were planning on going out to dinner, but ended up staying at the hotel and enjoying the food that was served that night. The chicken Alfredo was awesome! Only setback was the lack of seating. We went down at 5:40, but had to take our food and drinks up to our room. We figured that people probably got tables well before 5:30. We went up and down a couple of times for refills and noticed that all of the same people were still sitting at the same tables the entire time, no longer eating...kind of disheartening that people can be so inconsiderate. Anyway, we appreciated the complimentary breakfast- plenty of hot and cold food and drink choices available.
