Great Lakes Escape Game — Attraction in City of Frankenmuth

This experience was a bit lacking for me. The "room" seemed like it came from a pre-manufactured kit with wall pannels included. They give unlimited hints to make it even easier. I had an issue with a couple of the puzzles. One because of the instructions. Count how many _ in the image... well an image includes foreground, middleground and background. The correct answer only wanted the number of __ in the forground. The second puzzle was overly sensitive. I get some puzzles need this but this level of sensitivity seemed a bit overboard. Especially when you cant fully control the movement of everything involved in the puzzle. Third was a huge issue for me. We escaped the room with two locks undone. After asking about this we where told they are "time wasters". A quality escape room will not need "time wasters". If you are looking for an authentic escape room experience, go to Michigan Escape Games in Davison. It's not that far and you will not be disappointed. Great experience for first time escape roomist! We tried the Immunity Quest room. This came in at $15 a person, and as the most the room could hold was 4 this perfect for us. It is slated to last 30 minutes. We were able to solve it but there were definitely parts that make you feel like you are not going to get it.

Our host let us know if we were to come again their other rooms have multiple rooms as part of the exeperience, while The Immunity Quest took place in one room.

we had a bad experience here at first and didn't like the room but it ended up being a mistake, which happens so we weren't upset, and then we were invited back to do another game which was nice. we did the pirate room and then the heist room. we really liked the heist room, the puzzles were fun and the decor was great, the room was built very well. the pirates room was lacking in comparison decorations and building wise. and pirates had more of an awkward silence to it and you can hear all the rooms around you playing or being reset because the walls don't go all the way up. the workers...
