The only thing good about this hotel is the proximity to Rainbow Bridge and Niagara Falls. The location otherwise is a little bit suspicious; the parking lot is poorly lit at night, and its located across the street from a helicopter place (which is empty at night) and a non-operational inn; I would not feel safe walking around outside at night. We arrived late at night/early next morning, and we saw individuals roaming the parking lot. On the note of parking, there are signs that indicate it costs $30 and is only for hotel guests. For those that believe its free, I encourage you to look at your bill and exactly what you are paying for; we were told ours is built into our stay and therefore non-refundable. They have a relatively small surface level parking lot and a smaller underground garage. At the time of my stay, 1/4 of the underground garage was roped off, presumably for repairs as I saw what looked like chunks of the ceiling on the ground. Additionally, the underground parking spots are extremely narrow, several cars (even sedans) we saw were parked over the lines and prevented someone from someone parking next to them. As far as I can tell, the hotel staff does nothing to ask them to correct their parking. Between the double parking and small parking garage/lot, this often means anyone arriving late (I'd say after 7pm) won't be able to find parking in the hotel lot and will be asked to park across the street at the inn (and you won't get a refund for parking because its built into your stay). (Even with the hotel parking lot at full capacity, if the underground garage was fully open, I question and doubt they would be able offer each of their guests room one parking space. Attached photo of the surface lot, keep in mind this is a 7 story hotel with at least 20 rooms on a floor.)

The check-in process was a little long, but that's very understandable given the location of this hotel. Once we got to our room, it looked great. That is until I laid down on the bed. Likely the most uncomfortable I've ever laid in because of the "V" shape in which I was positioned. The bed was broken and there was no way in which I was going to be able to comfortably rest, unless I laid side to side. I knew how busy it was in the lobby and I hated to be "that guy" who called down to the front desk, but I had to. I spoke with both Danielle and Cisettry and they sent a gentleman up from maintenance (I forget his name, but a very nice gentleman). He saw the bed and immediately agreed that there would be no rest possible in "that." He politely asked me if I cared to wait a little bit and he'd see what he could do. Approximately 15-20 minutes later he knocked on our door and asked if we could follow him. We were escorted to our new room and wow. We were upgraded to an 8th floor suite overlooking Niagara Falls. I was not expecting this at all and would have been content for just another room. When I expressed my gratitude, both of the ladies were adamant that they wanted my experience to be a positive one. Every staff member at the Wyndham Garden Niagara location I interacted with was a great one. Please give special props to those two ladies who made it an exceptional experience for my son and I.

I booked this hotel on a whim to get away for the weekend. After booking, my husband starting reading the reviews and I was really nervous about staying here the whole ride up from MA. Thankfully it was not as bad as I thought. We arrived at midnight on May 26th. Walked in and the place smelled clean. The staff was so monotone and not welcoming at all. Checked in fine and went to our room. The elevators to the room are sketchy. They work but are slow and sounds like they will break down at any minute. Walked into the room and it smelled great and clean. The reviews I read were that the rooms are dirty and not clean. I checked the bed, toilet, tub, counter tops, etc before putting anything down. Everything was very clean. I was in room 205. I read that people had issues with no hot water and we did have hot water. Maybe because we were on the 2nd floor. The mattresses had zip up covers on them which was great because it helped with bed bugs if there were to be any. The room had a mini fridge and microwave. The beds were not comfortable for me at all. One I almost fell off twice in the middle of the night because it was slanted and the other one felt harder which made my back sore in the morning. The pillows were great. Our view was great. We got to view the Canada side and all the lights. The area was not great as far as "nice" or clean. It was run down really. I am glad that all the anxiety I had on the drive up was relieved once I got there and viewed everything. The pool was nice enough. I did not get in but my son and husband did. It was warm. The thing I was most upset about was the restaurant Chill 443 was not open. Amenities said breakfast, lunch and dinner but there was none of that. The "lounge" area that was in the restaurant was open at night for a few hours for drinks. There is a pool table but only one stick and it did not have a tip on it. The pool table needs some upgrading. Starbucks is only open in the morning until 11 and not everyday. Parking is $20 a day. One night we had to park across the street at another hotel which sucked but it's whatever. I guess both hotels have an agreement or something that WGH can park there with your pass. I could hear the other patrons in their rooms. Not talking but coughing and such. It did not bother me at night because I were earplugs and could not hear anything. There was only a few happy employees that were welcoming. Mostly the night crew and one woman during the day acted like they did not want to be there at all. No smile, no interaction, no nothing. The hotel does need some major renovations. The parking garage underneath needs to be inspected and rebuilt. I was nervous parking my car under there hoping it would not cave it or flood from the leak. (not sure where the leak was coming from) The rusted items in the bathroom need replacing, the sprinklers need to be inspected to make sure they work. (It didn't look like they may). The elevators need repairing. The carpet needs to be replaced. The wallpaper needs to be replaced. Just needs a good overhaul. It was nice enough for our stay. I would probably not stay here again because of the cost with the lack of amenities and parking. I feel I could get more for my money at another...

The location is in very close proximity to the Falls, and I found the staff pleasant. You have to pay for parking through the hotel. They have a very, very small lot next to this Indian food lot, which you have to compete with them for those spots (reserved for the hotel), then there is a little bigger lot by the front entrance. Both will likely be full on a weekend, then they direct you to the underground lot. This lot needs to be structurally inspected. The ceiling is falling in, which they have roped off with cones, also lining one wall are heavily stained mattresses and chairs/couches from the rooms, which is really a hazard and gross. I would not recommend even entering the lower deck, which from circling it, only holds

I have stayed King suite room with casino view for 3 nights 4 days.||5 Star for the room size and view.|1 star for Guest Behavior.||"The Hotel was a fantastic choice for our recent trip to the niagra falls usa. The location was perfect, just a short walk from Niagara falls USA and its attractions. The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. ||Not very impressed with the attentive service from the staff, during my stay I have meet with three of the staffs in the front desk all of them seem to be not welcoming as well as tired like they have been working 24 hours. I sometime sat in the lobby to check the behavior of them with other clients too. Very bad experience. Its a hospitability job you guys are doing come on have some smile on the face with some attitude to answer the questions a guest might have. Not a sad dull face showing no interest to talk to any guest. || The hotel's amenities, like the swimming pool is good and awesome but remember its cold water only no heated up but you will love swimming as the water is clean and everything surrounding it is great, fitness center, were also a great addition, there is a small free guest laundry with one speed queen machine of dryer and washer. ||The Suite room i booked was expensive so I was expecting the parking to be free. But to my surprise when I reached there they took money out of my credit card without even informing me for what are they charging me for. When I went to the front desk I found out it was for my car park outside $30 a night. ||The best part is the room was equipped with HEATED towel rack, standing jetted showers, big screen two TVs, study desk, kitchen , dinning, and nice bed with view.|10 stars for the room settings and view. But remember they only clean if you request them early in the morning to clean the place.||Overall the software system the owner introduced I love it it keeps you track of your stay by the mobile app and text message. The price is good for this kind of suite room. The location is 10 star awesome. Everything in the hotel you will enjoy only thing is the guest service team in the front desk they have to be changed to give the hotel a...
